Would return.
Pros:

The hotel had a shuttle to downtown St. Augustine and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant had a solid menu, would recommend the coconut shrimp. Right on the beach, with a pool and several private seating options.

Cons:

Only two elevators that seemed exceptionally slow. The price seemed high for a beach hotel.

We have gone to St.Augustine before but this hotel is in a class by itself.It was a great location and had a great comfortable vibe.It rained while we were there and the staff was exceptional adding extra indoor activities.

Cons:

Needs some extra blankets and the parking lot flooded.

Pros:

The location is amazing! We loved being within walking distance to the beach. The lobby is cute, fresh, and updated. The pool area is fun with a place to rent beach equipment and a tiki bar. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, we had a great time and felt the proximity to the ocean made it worth the money. It was a great place to stay!

Cons:

The reason I can't give it a 5 star rating is the hotel portion felt like it needed some more tlc. It was not in the same shape as the lobby. The lobby felt brand new, and the hotel felt old with some fresh updates. Our first room smelled like mold, and the water was orange when I turned it on. The staff gave us a new room. In the new room our phone didn't work. When the staff checked it out, the fix was going to require us to move again. We chose to stay and use our cell phones to communicate with the front desk.

Pleasant and Friendly atmosphere
Pros:

The staff was very pleasant and MOST guest were friendly

Cons:

The lobby was extremely too cold, the toilet seat in my room sat too low and the carpet in my room was although vacuumed, needed shampooing or replacing. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable.

Cons:

Wet/musty smell in both elevators. Mat appeared to have dampness under it. Toilets in room are too low, no exhaust fans. Lack of counter space and hooks in the bathroom.

Would definitely consider revisiting!
Pros:

I only stayed overnight, but the property is beachfront with a pool, outdoor shower when you come off the beach and a pool bar.

Of course, the faculty and rooms are decorated with the beautiful art of Guy Harvey which is breathtaking, if you stop to notice such things.

It is a beachfront resort, not Club Med. It was just after Labor Day when I stayed on my way to points further south in Florida. For the affordable price, it is an excellent bargain! It’s a very nice facility with a nice, helpful staff and my room was very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

Again, I stayed less than 24 hours, but for the money and what I am use to paying for beachfront hotels in Maryland, this is a bargain!!! I told my wife we should fly down here for a week then deal with the chaos in Ocean City Maryland!
