They did not let us know that the pool was not open
Location, mattress was better than in other hotels
The room still smelled of dogs. The shower had mold in the ceiling and the shower doors would not close. The bathroom door was also not closing.
Breakfast was terrible, soggy watery scrambled eggs, cold potatoes.
The beds slept good. Breakfast was good.
The kitchen area was closed due to water damage. The pool area was closed because they had there tools in there and the carpet in our room was wet.
Nice motel. It is a older building, but kept in pretty good shape. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and well stocked.
I felt pricing was a little high for an older motel.
Incredibly friendly staff. Exceptional service. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Everything was kept perfectly clean. Pool and hot tub area was fantastic. Great little fitness room. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. Recently remodeled. GREAT breakfast. 10/10 will be returning. Easy access to Linville, Pisgah, Little Switzerland, Lake James, Old Fort and Swannanoa areas.
