Pros:

Vriendelijke personeel, lekker (beperkt) ontbijt, leuke en comfortabele kamers. Zeer lekkere restaurant !!!

Cons:

De muren blijken vrij dun te zijn, hierdoor kon ik de kamer naast en boven me horen.

My Go-to Shannon Hotel.
Pros:

I love the convenience of staying here when I fly in and out of Shannon. It is more pricey than I am used to, but it is well worth it. A big plus is that there is a bus stop right in front. The staff is great. The Lodge is very nice. Great bar for a couple of pints of Guinness and the lamb shank in the restaurant is amazing. The breakfast is fantastic also. This is the second time I've stayed here and will again if I am fortunate enough to return to Ireland.

Pros:

The dinner in the hotel was very good. Service not perfect but the staff were under a lot of pressure. They ran out of wine glasses so I had to wait a while not that I minded but strange a hotel running out of wine glasses. Bedroom and bathroom perfect except pillows very hard. We were down at 10 for breakfast. Hardly anything left and still another half hour to go. I just had weetabix my husband and family managed to get a few remaining bits but very poor .
Tiny reception desk and busy when we arrived nobody at reception and we had to wait for receptionist to arrive .

Nicht empfehlenswert - höchstens für eine Durchreisen /Preis/Leistung stimmt überhaupt nicht.
Pros:

Empfangsbereich sieht sehr einladend und schön aus. Und das ist auch schon alles.
Wenn man nicht ein Zimmer mit Blick auf die Strasse erhält, ist es sehr düster und beengend dort zu übernachten.

Cons:

Das Zimmer lag direkt neben dem Lift. Es war sehr dunkel und aufgrund der Tatsache, dass das Fenster einen Blick auf das 1-2 m entfernte Nachbargebäude hatte, kam man sich sehr beengt vor.
Das Bad war sehr alt und hätte dringend eine Modernisierung notwendig.
Auch zum Abendessen wurden wir anstatt im Pub/Bistro ins Restaurant geführt, wo es ebenfalls keine Fenster hatte. Der ganze Aufenthalt war nicht angenehm und ich würde dieses Hotel aufgrund des hohen Preises nicht mehr wählen.

Great welcome for short stay.
Pros:

Reception were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast room staff were also very welcoming, helpful and outgoing.

Duty managers saluted in the morning - there was a nice welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel.

The weather was also very nice - good atmosphere in the bar/outside seating area.

Cons:

The room backed on to the road side over the kitchen extract. It was noisy which meant I couldn't open the window. I would specify in booking request to look for a room on a quieter side of the hotel. It wouldn't stop me from booking there again.
