Overall the price is fine for the received service. Breakfast can be improved with small changes

Spacious room, strong wi-fi in room, nice fridge

Cons:

Breakfast is the real weak point. Too few things, and sometimes even the basic was missing (one morning there were no mor e yoghurts). The room for the breakfast is too small and crowded. In half the mornings I stayed I had to have breakfast without sitting.

Desperately needs a makeover

10-12 years ago when we frequented the Bay Area more often, my wife and I stayed at various Larkspur Landing properties, including this one, a number of times. We always liked the spacious suites and other amenities. We recently had a series of family events so decided to stay at one of our favorites.

To sum it up, it was very disappointing to find the property in such need of maintenance. One elevator out of order. Frayed carpet in the room. Chipped cabinets with crooked doors. Stained upholstery (on what was probably the same furniture from 10-12 years ago). I could go on.

There are many hotels in the area in the same price range. I suggest you try them instead of the Larkspur Landing properties, I know we will.

Will take payment even though free cancellation!
Pros:

Do NOT book this hotel unless you are 100% staying. They have taken payment from me even though I cancelled within free cancellation period. I have sent emails & tried to phone numerous times & have not had any response. Customer service is appalling & I have been left out of pocket. Larkspur landings management get your act together!
