Great location was amazing up until the last day

Cons:

Promised that we could have a shower room on the last day in morning as we were leaving late. When we came back from pool they said there are no rooms available. They offer us a room to shower on if we pay daily rate - Very disappointing

Beautiful hotel with great staff, but eat elsewhere.
Pros:

The location right on the beach, beautiful room with comfy bed. Staff were very friendly.

Cons:

I think the food pricing at the restaurant was expensive for what it was $40USD for a basic pasta is a bit much.

Great historic hotel walking distance to the best of Santa Monica

I wouldn’t bother upgrading to an ocean view, because of the shape of the hotel and how far away the ocean is, there is very little view. Our mattress was in bad shape, but I let them know at checkout.
