not satisfied with the property.
Pros:

the hallway and the room had a weird smell. after we kept the window open for a day, the room smelled better but the hallway always had a weird smell like some sort of cleaner that was used (?)

Cons:

the smell in the hallway and the room was bad. there was mold or something like it on the bathroom ceiling light. the soap dispenser was empty.

Cleanliness was poor, toilet would not flush, room phone didn’t work, the hair dryer didn’t work, and the management is very rude.

It was not clean, even after we changed room. The staff was really nice, but still we had to sleep with towels on the bed because we didn’t feel like the 2 rooms were not clean enough…

Decent inn, definitely somewhere safe and clean to stay for a few days to save some money.
Pros:

The rooms were nice for the price and location. Having the newer A/C was a great plus as well as the tv. The mini fridge was a good size to hold a lot of things. Plenty of lights in the actual room and accessible trash bins. Plenty of parking and in a good location for food and easy access to popular areas.

Cons:

The bathroom was not cleaned the best, specifically the shower curtain and the top of the tub where you step over it. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and did not have great ventilation, also the inside of the light was filled with debris/bugs which was visible due to its yellowy light colored glass cover. The hall also had a funky smell but I think it’s due to the rain and humidity (rugs get dirty easy, having a more hotel style carpeting or a hard flooring may make the place more appealing. Breakfast area was mid, if it was more like a holiday inn we probably would have ate at the inn but there’s no real filling foods.

Pros:

The location is good, free parking, and quiet

Cons:

The smell of mildew is horrible and disturbing. Very old and outdated facilities. The hotel gives me that kind of horror movie vibes.

Good staff. Poor maintenance. Obnoxious rules.
Pros:

Location was good for my purposes. Staff was friendly and room was clean.

Cons:

Front desk not consistently staffed.
Room was poorly designed and needed repair.
The front desk was peppered with signage about rules and which forms of payment the did and didn't take.
They charge an unnecessary extra hundred dollar deposit due the room.
Three lights (two by the bed, one overhead) didn't work.
First floor room curtains didn't close, by design. The tracks for the curtains were only at the sides of the window, leaving a four or five foot opening for anyone outside to look right in.
The bed was uncomfortable.
There was a strange, useless, hook (towel hook?) in the bottom corner of the sink corner.
The towel rod was missing from the bathroom (mounts were still on the wall).
The fridge/freezer doors opened in the opposite direction than the door of the cabinet it was in.
One of the pump bottles of shower gel was broken off the wall of the shower.

Moldy Motel
Pros:

We liked the pool

Cons:

The entire hotel smells like mold. I only know this because I forgot my key in my room & had to walk around building, then through lobby, and procees through the labyrinth the entire hotel including my room smelled of mold.
There was no staff to check out with in the morning, I assume because they don't want to hear all the complaints. The lighting was terrible, there was no full length mirror, the floors were not vaccuumed, I'm sure several people will complain about the mold smell

Beware don't go
Pros:

Nothing really. It smells very musty. Check in is not a nice space at all. Looks like a yard sale. The window opens in the room but no screen. Yes it is low budget but there are many better. It's time to get rid of the carpet in the rooms as well.We will never return.
