All in all, a solid place for a stay.
Pros:

The breakfast was outstanding. Great pancake making machine!

The pillows weren't that firm and the bed was okay. The TV selections were limited.

Pretty short stay, but was nice.

Very clean. Staff was lovely.

Cons:

Nothing that we did not like. Previous AmericInn we stayed at had a filtered water machine to fill our water bottles, which was a great plus.

Pros:

Staff is always friendly. It's 2 blocks from MSU stadium and right down the street from my sons dorm, so moving him in was a snap.

Cons:

A/C was loud and woke me up a few times but it's better than sleeping in a hot humid room.

Msu move in stay
Pros:

Location was fantastic, super clean, great staff

Cons:

My bed was super loud any time I moved so I couldn't sleep well. My daughter's bed was comfortable though. So perhaps the mattress cover material causing the sound. Not sure.

Cons:

Service needs to improve. Housekeeping nearly not existing. After 5 day I had to ask to make my bed at least once. After returning that day still not done.

OK but not impressive place to stay.
Pros:

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was typical American stuff but a bit short on protein and fruit. Parking was plentiful and free. Staff at the front desk were efficient and friendly.

Cons:

WiFi was open with minimal protection. The windows were dirty and the windowsill was cracked. The tub had a weird crackling sound as you moved your feet while showering, but the shower was nice. The AC was difficult/complicated to manipulate and the fan was quite noisy. There were uncontrolled children in the hallways. There was no elevator to the 2nd floor. The form that they wanted completed for arrival and departure seems quite intrusive requiring a large amount of personal information that seemed excessive. The refrigerator froze the food that we put in it.
