Immer wieder gut.
Wirklich gute Betten.
The staff was friendly, the room clean - the safety very very shocking
Honestly, it was a terrible experience. The rooms were clean, and check-in was very quick (pre-booked via booking.com). We arrived around 4 p.m., and I checked into my room. We were a large group (doctors, lawyers, and police officers). In the evening, we attended an external event and returned in the middle of the night.
When I entered my room, I noticed that my key card no longer worked. So I went back to the reception, where, to my shock, I was told that my room had been reassigned because I had supposedly not paid. I objected, as I did have the EC payment receipt. I was then offered a new room.
I responded in disbelief, explaining that all my belongings were still in the original room. I was then given a key again and entered the room to collect my belongings, which were scattered all over the place. By that time, two men were already sleeping in the room.
As it was 3:30 a.m. and I was extremely exhausted, I did not make a big scene but moved to the new room. Unfortunately, I was unable to sleep, as I was worried that this room might also be reassigned and that I might have to expect someone entering in the middle of the night.
The gentleman at the reception the next morning was very understanding and kind. He refunded the cost of the night and offered me breakfast. However, I must honestly say that this incident is absolutely unacceptable and represents a serious security issue. Reassigning an already occupied room while personal belongings are still inside should never happen under any circumstances.
What was particularly alarming was finding myself entering a room in the middle of the night where strangers were already sleeping – this was not only uncomfortable but also frightening.
Despite the friendly response the following morning and the refund of the overnight stay, I am left with a very negative overall impression. Such an error is serious and makes me strongly question the hotel’s organization and safety standards.
