Easy accessibility in north Edmonton, safe parking, very pleasant staff, comfortable accommodation, clean. Nice linens, very nice restaurant!
Accommodated for all 5 of us!
A couple extra towels that we asked for were not delivered. 2/5 did not shower that morning of check out.
Great location and friendly and accommodating staff
The room that we saw on the booking app and what we were allocated was completely different
Front Desk staff very friendly and accommodating for bag storage before check-in,
room lighting was a bit weak, wife likes bright rooms; TV reception failed we were told throughout entire hotel
Proximity to downtown
The bed was awful…
Friendly staff, quick and convenient.
The carpet in the room was needing to be replaced.
Rooms are decent for the price and very clean.
The Galway carpet needs changing. It is very old and musty smellimg
All are optimal for me.
Arriving at the reception and conducting cleaning rooms.
Great breakfast. Good location
The hotel is old the first thing I noticed is that it smelt like stale smoke
Close to downtown, near the Edmonton Aviation Museum, across the street from Superstore and with a conference centre and liquor store next door, we found the Chateau Louis was a great place to stay. We found it clean, comfy, and very quiet despite being on Kingsway! Very nice.
The dining room is definitely worth a visit. We ate there each day, try the nacho plate, it's huge. For dinner we tried the beef medallions and Caesar salad, both are excellent!
This is a minor concern and I know I used to go to the lounge back in the 70s so the Chateau Louis has been around a long time. It shows in the paint around the doors, and carpets.
Hotel is fine. Old, needs updating. But, fine.
