Pros:

Excellent hotel. The managers (family Gul) are very friendly and considerate and they ensure that all wishes of the guests are fully satisfied.
Rooms are large, well-equipped and very clean.
In particular we want to highlight the excellent breakfast buffet with many choices of fresh and high-quality food. Also the coffee and other drinks are of the best quality.
In summary:
Great value for money.
One of the best hotels we have ever had.

Excellent hospitality, great service and a staff that genuinely cares about its guests.
Pros:

The staff really care about their guests. They kindly accepted our request to change rooms, and while I was sitting at a table in the hallway, they even brought me a fan so I wouldn’t get too hot. Towels and bed linen were changed every day, and the beds were always nicely made. The breakfast was varied and tasty, even for someone like me who is definitely more of a meat lover!

Cons:

There is a paid parking lot only about 30 metres away, but the hotel itself does not offer parking. There is also a mosque nearby – we slept with the windows open and at 5:20 in the morning the call to prayer was so loud that, for a second, I thought the priest had walked right into our room! :)

Albergo in una posizione centrale, nel quartiere storico di Fathiq. Buona posizione per visitare i monumenti più famosi di Istanbul. Staff molto gentile, anche se i servizi ci sono sembrati non all'altezza dello standard atteso rispetto alle precedenti recensioni.

Desayuno excelente, buena comunicación y personal muy amable.
Pros:

El hotel no es de lujo pero tiene todos los servicios para una estancia perfecta, cómoda y recomendable. Está situado en una zona comercial de barrio, con parada de autobuses a 3 min y de tranvía a 7min. A pie, 20 min del Gran Bazar y a 30 de la Mezquita Azul. Bien comunicado con el aeropuerto (M2 Yenikapi) . El desayuno es muy completo, con comida continental y especialidades turcas dulces y saladas. Habitación amplia, limpia, cama cómoda, ducha perfecta, mini nevera, café y té gratis en la habitación. Tienen agua fresca en el hall que con el calor del verano en Estambul sienta muy bien! El personal de la recepción, Ilias y Jebo, muy amables, incluso nos guardaron una maleta los días que fuimos a Capadocia antes de volver a Barcelona.

Das Personal war freundlich, hilfsbereit und bemüht aus den Gegebenheiten vor Ort das Bestmögliche zu bieten. Das Frühstück war einfach, bot aber genügend Auswahl. Omelett wird auf Nachfrage gerne frisch zubereitet.

Cons:

Die Lage in einer lebendigen Gegend von Fatih ist mit dem PKW schwierig zu erreichen. Durch andere Fahrzeuge blockierte, enge Gassen (häufig Einbahnstraßen) und keine Parkplätze im Nahbereich des Hotels. Es gibt private Parkplätze gegen Gebühr in der Gegend. Empfehlen kann ich Vectra Otopark, Katip Kasım Mah., Hadım Odaları Sok. No:38, Fatih. 2000TL (~37€) für zwei Tage war günstig und fußläufig nur ca. 5-10Min entfernt.
Ein anderer Anbieter verlangte 100 US$ !

Wir, 2 Erwachsene & 3 Kinder, waren 2 Nächte im Gül Otel und hatten ein Familienzimmer. Die angegebenen 40qm sind überraschend klein. Ablagemöglichkeiten gibt es nahezu keine. Die Koffer müssen leider in den ohnehin schon engen Platzverhältnissen in den Gängen stehen. Das vorhandene Mobiliar ist abgewohnt. Auf den Bildern wird mit gefüllten Kühlschränken geworben…unser Kühlschrank jedenfalls war leer. Es stand lediglich eine große Flasche stilles Wasser auf dem Boden.

Alles in allem handelt es sich um ein einfaches Hotel. Zumindest in unserem Zimmer hatte die Einrichtung ihre besten Zeiten hinter sich.

El hotel estaba situado en un barrio muy animado, y cerca de tranvía y estación de autobuses al aeropuerto. La habitación amplia, camas cómodas, silencioso, tranquilo, y un desayuno muy completo. El personal muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento

Výborné na krátky pobyt. Čisto, denné upratovanie, príjemný personál. Pekné ubytovanie za dobrú cenu. Do 5 minút vlak B1, U3 a električka T1. Skvelá dostupnosť na mestskú dopravu!

Si nous revenons à Istanbul nous réserverons à nouveau au Gul Otel sans hésitation.
Pros:

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Hôtel confortable, proche des transports, central, dans une petite rue piétonne très vivante (mais chambre calme !), petit déjeuner varié pour bien commencer la journée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la gentillesse de nos hôtes, leurs conseils et leur attention.

Pros:

Fajny hotel, w bardzo dobrej cenie, w cenie śniadania, które były urozmaicone i smaczne. Pokój mały, ale czysty usytuowany przy spokojnej ulicy, działająca klimatyzacja, dwa wejście jedno na spokojną uliczkę, drugie na uliczkę że sklepikami, nie trzeba daleko szukać sklepów z ubraniami, butami, pamiątkami wszystko jest blisko i w dużo bardziej rozsądnych cenach niż przy głównych ulicach. Odległość od głównych zabytków to ok 30/40 min piechotą, idzie się bardzo prosto mijając sklepy i sklepik w tym bardzo fajne piekarnie, po drodze można zwiedzać.

Cons:

Może trochę mały pokój, ale biorąc pod uwagę, że nie przyjechaliśmy mieszkań w pokojach, zupełnie wystarczył.
