Die beste Unternkunft unserer 3-wöchigen Perureise! Die Lage könnte nicht perfekter sein - unser Superior-Bungalow hatte sehr viel Privatsphäre (von den anderen Unterkünften bekommt man de facto nichts mit..), eine schöne Ästhetik und eine grandiose Lage mit Blick direkt ins Grüne und auf die Gocta Falls - und das dank der tollen Fensterfront sogar vom Bett aus! In Cocachimba gibt es einige Unterkünfte und Lodges.. von unserem Gefühl her hat aber keine eine bessere Lage bzw. einen schöneren Blick als die Goctamarca Lodge! Zusätzlich sind die Hunde extrem liebenswert! Nas hat uns in der Früh beim Bungalow besucht, um sich seine Streicheleinheiten zu sichern...

Die Bungalows liegen direkt am Waldrand mit Blick auf den Wasserfall. Es ist total ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück ist gut, daß Restaurant einfach aber gut. Man macht sich das Abendessen aus. Die Einrichtung ist komfortabel. Wir waren 3 Nächte dort und haben es sehr genossen. Wanderung zum Wasserfall direkt von der Unterkunft.

We stayed three nights in well designed, comfortable chalet with breathtaking views of Gocta Falls. We gad a good breakfast on site and ate our other meals in the village, 10 minutes walk away. Goctamarca organises transport to and from Chachapoyas for 260 soles - cheaper alternatives available but convenient.

Un véritable coup de cœur ! Tout était tout simplement parfait. Nous avons été totalement transportés par la beauté de l’endroit et son calme absolu. Chaque habitation donne sur un paysage somptueux à couper le souffle tellement c’est beau. Les chambres sont magnifiques et très confortables. Egalement, les propriétaires et le personnel sont d’une très grande gentillesse et donnent beaucoup d’attention. Bref nous y étions tellement bien que ça nous a coûté de devoir partir.

The lodge is really beautiful. You have amazing views and everything is clean and modern.
The staff is so warming and caring. They cook amazing lunch and dinner. Breakfast was also one of the best we had in all our accommodations in Peru.

Felt like we had graduated to the Garden of Eden. Andrew is incredibly accessible and resourceful and allowed us to have a three day experience in all sensory domains - and then some - that we can not wait to build on. Absolutely no complaints. You will NOT regret the decision to make the trek.

The views and the rooms

This is an absolutely beautiful stay in what feels like (and is) a private little spot among the hillside! The porch is perfect, every meal was perfect, views from the room & and bathroom are amazing. Great WiFi from inside the room also. The attendant/chef was amazing and the whole experience felt very personable. They were even able to assist with taxi services. Very close to the start of the Gocta falls hike. Walking around can be tough due to the altitude, but absolutely worth it.

The location is amazing and the view towards the waterfalls unbelievable.

Idyllic. This place is paradisiac. No word to describe the feeling to wake up with this wonderful view, and sound of the colibris. The room is super clean, water is hot, bed is really confortable, private terrasse is amazing. I loved the decoration, natural pure atmosphere.
The staff is super kind, they offered me to shower and rest after a big hike when i came back in late afternoon while i had check out in the morning.
Breakfast and dinner were amazing, fresh home made food.

Great view, independent lodge surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, only thing you can hear are the birds chirping and water running somewhere far away. So peaceful and relaxing. Delicious homemade meals using local ingredients. Very caring and helpful staffs. There was a road construction and some hours were inaccessible by car but it wasn’t troublesome, was easy to adapt our schedule to visit archeological sites. Highly recommended!

Lovely cabins, very private, great views. Bed was incredibly comfortable and overall the room was impeccably clean. Staff were very friendly and the breakfasts and dinners were tasty home cooking. Highly recommend.

Stunning views from our lodge in a truly unique setting. The design of the room made the most of the view of the waterfall, being able to see it from the bed in the morning. The food was also delicious with local Peruvian dishes and ingredients. The staff were all very helpful and we also loved the two dogs and one cat!
