Location and amenities were good

Pool was dirty. The water was filthy
Staff. Not very friendly and the first room we got was a king when we had requested a queen double with a crib. So we had to schlep our things and the 4 month up to the rooms twice. Staff did not seem concerned. Had to show drivers license, give phone number again for the second room. Staff was sitting in main lobby eating yake out. Not very professional.
The rooms are very quiet.

We were put into the wrong room at first and wasn't caught until later evening. But the guy was very apologetic and gave us free breakfast vouchers. All the vents in the rooms were dirty and our final room, there was mold around the vent towards the ceiling in the bedroom.
Comfort of bed and pillows in King room was excellent. Shower pressure was great. Clean and updated room (5-9-2026). Many places to charge phones. Closet/open cabinet area was spacious. Dark and quiet room for sleeping. Nice to have free coffee in lobby. It would have been nice to have real cream instead of coffee mate creamer.
CHECK-IN: The only person there to check us in was unprofessional in his manners and in his dress. (I thought he was a maintenance man.) He was sitting on the couch watching tv in the open lounge area. He didn't immediately come to the counter. I even got my phone out, thinking I needed to call the Holiday Inn number. He then went behind the counter but did not turn towards us or greet us. (He was eating.) Without eye contact, he asked for my credit card and ID. Still no greeting. He swiped my credit card at least 15 times, NOT exaggerating! We offered to swipe it on our side, but he said that it didn't work. He ended up typing my number in. THEN, he said, "Hi, my name is Matt. Welcome to Holiday Inn. Here are the keys to your room." That was it. Very bizarre. The tissues and toilet paper were not the soft kind, if that's important to you. For the price of $179, we were very disappointed in our check-in experience. (CHECK-OUT: Checking out the 2 ladies were regular, friendly, and professional people.)
