Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Florence - Cincinnati Airport by IHG

Check in was easy. Neil was very nice. The Maintenence man (didn't get his name) showed us the pool and explained why it was discolored. Nice guy!

Breakfast and location

Everything was great!

The customer service on the phone was horrible. I have never in my life spoke to someone so rude who is suppose to be helping. Rude people should not work in customer service.

We were in town for a family funeral, and needed to be close to the airport for some of our family members who needed a shuttle after we left.
Our room was very clean, spacious, welcoming, and even smelled good!
Mary at the check-in desk was very welcoming, fun and energetic, and made our arrival a fun experience. Every hotel needs a Mary!

Clean, front desk a little confused (assigned wrong room) but all worked out. Parking is a little tight so be prepared. Rooms were great and location was superb - right by airport, great restaurant options, easy access to local expressways and such. Small quibble - lots of (burning) breakfast cooking smells on second floor -- not the good ones, think exhaust fan. Both in my room and the hallway. Otherwise great. Breakfast buffet was lovely. I noticed Delta has their employees stay here, so that speaks volumes...

Breakfast was ok. Pancake machine didn’t work and the toaster sucked.

The facilities are excellent, and Mary at the front desk is wonderful.

This is my first time in this area, and the experience has been very pleasant so far. When I arrived at the hotel, Mary and James were very helpful, friendly, and professional. I didn’t have a rewards account, and Mary very kindly set one up for me. The check-in process was quick and smooth. Both the hotel lobby and the surrounding area are very clean, and the hotel is in a very central location. It has ample parking, and the room is also super comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend it 100%.

We hv never flown out of CVG when I looked up “parking for the airport” Holiday Inn Express & Suites came up amongst other hotels like Hilton etc. We hv never parked at anything for airport parking other than airport parking (The Parking Spot). We were a little skeptic abt parking there bcz we literally the day before purchased a 2026 Tundra. I read their reviews for airport parking purposes & it had excellent ratings w/free airport shuttle service so we chose to use their parking service. The lady at the front desk gave us a bus card w/their info said if we needed to extend or had any questions to call and then the young lady that took us to the airport was very friendly and took us right away. We decided to stay at Disney an extra day so I called & the person that answered sd no problem you can pay for the extra day when you get back. We got bk to CVG got our luggage & called for the shuttle to pick us up, it arrived within 10 mins. A very kind lady named Kresta picked us up. We had good conversation & I mentioned we may be interested in staying at Holiday Inn Express & Suites to get some sleep for abt 6 hrs, she sd we cld get you a room for $60 and you cld check out by 2:30pm and we have hot breakfast right now at the hotel. DEAL! We got there had a really good breakfast and when zi say good I mean good. I hv stayed at many hotels throughout my 59 yrs & hv had many continental breakfasts & this was a good breakfast. We ate and went to the room which was a king bed/room. It was huge! The only standard hotel room that I’ved stayed in that had more room or an amt of room that equated to this room here was st Compass by Margaritaville in Pigeon Forge, TN.
This was a very clean and very nice hotel. I am extremely funny & picky when it comes to cleanliness & hotel rooms & I do read reviews before booking a hotel. I had not researched this Holiday Inn E & Suites other than for the parking. I ALWAYS have my guy lift up the mattress upon entering a hotel room no matter how much the price or what brand (I hv stayed at hotels at $350 and $500 night). I inspect the mattress underneath and sides then I thoroughly inspect inside/outside pillows then pull the covers down and fully inspect. I usually find fingerprints or a hair in the bathroom (even in top brand hotels )THIS Holiday Inn Express & Suites may not have a huge fancy foyer like some hotels BUT what it doesn’t have in foyer it makes up for in every other area. If we fly out of CVG again THIS Holiday Inn Express & Suites near the
airport will be our go to to stay the night before
and possibly upon return from our flight.
