Sri-Lanka l'art de la nonchalance...
Pros:

Cet un établissement très bien placé : au bord de la lagune de Bentota, à 5mn de la plage (utilisation de bateau pour traverser la lagune), à proximité immédiate (2mn à pied) d'un supermarché, de KFC, de Pizza Hut, et à proximité également du centre ville d'Aluthgama.

Cons:

Je n'ai pas apprécié le fait de ne pas pouvoir bénéficier d'un service de "bar" ou "petite restauration". L'établissement a pourtant une salle qui s'y prête (cuisine, etc) et la clientèle qui vient pour les activités nautiques. Une certaine nonchalance du personnel qui se contente uniquement de nettoyer le jardin, et qui regarde le matériel se dégrader...(comme dans énormément d'établissements Sri-Lankais)...

Katastrophal. Ich war schon in einigen Unterkünften in diesem Ort und verstehe die positiven Bewertungen nicht.

Das Personal ( Küche ) war freundlich

Cons:

Trotz zugesagtem früheren Check-In war zunächst niemand da. Erst nach mehrmaligem Hupen unseres Fahrers kam jemand.
Das Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber: tote Kakalake und benutzte Watterstäbchen im WC-Mülleimer, Schimmel im Bad, ungenügende Zimmerausstattung und Spinnweben.
Wir waren mit 3 Personen nur knappe 6 Stunden im Hotel und mussten bei Abreise die Hälfte des Buchungspreises bezahlen.
Haben bis heute keine ordentliche Rechnung erhalten.

Nice guesthouse in beautiful location
Pros:

The main selling point for this place is its beautiful location - it's right on the river bank looking out towards paradise island and you can get a boat across to Bentota beach. There's a nice clean pool in the garden to cool off in too.
Room was spacious and clean with ceiling fan and good a/c. Table and chairs outside on the terrace with views of the river. A simple breakfast of eggs toast and fruit is provided. However if you want evening meal, you have to order in advance. There aren't too many dining options nearby, unless you like KFC, Pizza Hut or Dominos! Plenty of restaurants further into town near the river or in Bentota itself.

Cons:

As others have said, the beds are pretty hard. Being near to the river, there are quite a few mosquitoes about, but no net is provided over the bed.
Contrary to info on Booking.com, they do not accept card payments - cash only.
WiFi was a bit sketchy, but I was told that this was a temporary network problem in the area.

Kwan totaal niet overeen met de foto's en omschrijving. Via een smal weggetje waar amper een auto door kan rijden. Een soort van familie huis, absoluut geen hotel.
