I love it
Nothing
Clean (but very small) comfortable room. Nice bar. Helpful staff.
Too expensive for what it was. Could have stayed at The Peabody for $30 more. Sketchy part of town. Expensive parking. No included breakfast.
The hotel is in a good location for many of the attractions and the reviews suggested a good hotel but we were very disappointed to the point we only stayed 2 of the 4 nights we had booked. This was stop 2 of 4 on a flydrive , all pre-paid. So we ended up forking out another $400 to extend our stay at stop 3. On the ground floor is a bar area, you go up a set of steps to an open area, this is the reception. The bar hosts a DJ every night and we had to raise our voice to be heard when checking in, as did Anthony on the desk. To note Anthony was helpful and friendly. The noise level was night clubish and open to the public so packed with youngsters. it didnt feel like a place we could have a drink and a meal. Thou we didnt get disturbed by this to much in the room, indirectly it did as the spill out into the street went on until around 2am and we didnt sleep. Additionally our room was filthy. The bed was made , desk wiped and bathroom cleaned but all other surfaces we covered in dust and neglected for some time. We found a pair of socks on the floor under the desk and the fabric chair needed a wash. The TV did not work. Went to use the phone to call the desk, this didnt work either, and the layer of dust on the receiver was astonishing, so evidently hadnt worked for a long time. I went down and had a load chat with Anthony and to be fair to him he had someone come up and try to sort it straight away, which they couldnt. It is not a place we will revisit, and association with Hilton was not the guarantee we imagined. When we checked out early we werent even asked why .
This was a great Hotel, They have done a good job with turning the building into a Hotel from what it was previously.
There were a few little things that I noticed that could have been addressed, the shower head was loose in the wall and the bathroom sink had a crack in it.
Bed was good. That’s all of the shower was broken. One of the lamps was broken.
The GPS takes you to the front of the hotel and there’s nowhere there that tells you where the front desk is so you’re chasing it around and then once you find out then you gotta drive all the way to the back where you pay to stay at the parking spot
The hotel smells so good and the vibe was lively. We truly enjoyed our stay. We will be back!!
I hosted my family reunion July 9-12th. The front desk staff was just amazing they handled any concern I might have had very friendly and the GM Tim was just amazing making sure our family of about 80 enjoyed their stay at the beautiful Central Station Hotel. Andrea was my sales person whom I work with for over 1 dis an exception job coordinatoring our ever. The catering staff was just amazing Roderick was very professional and friendly with my entire family making sure we had everything to make this memorable event and OH GOD the food was excellent 👌 I would rate it a very high 10 the chef Latrice also make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The parking lot LAZ was also great in taking care of our parking needs during our stay. I would highly recommend hosting your your next event at this beautiful historic hotel and catering your event. The food even in their restaurant was high rating the breakfast was just amazing. I wish to thank the entire staff at Central Station Hotel who make my visit memorable and I will be return again. One more thing the location is great walking distance to different attractions on Main Street. Book you next hotel and catering event at Central Station Hotel. Thanks for taking care of us during our stay
Excelente, me encanto. Me encanta la historia que pueda estar detrás de todo el edificio
No pudimos pagar es estacionamiento al entrar por 24 y cada vez que salimos teníamos que pagar nuevamente
Stayed at the Hilton Memphis Central Station and was disappointed to find the room substantially different from what’s shown on the website. The marketing photos clearly suggest elevated views, but I was placed on the 3rd floor with a view of the adjacent building instead. It’s possible the rooms pictured online are reserved for higher floors, but this wasn’t made clear at booking.
When I raised this at the front desk, the staff seemed surprised and somewhat annoyed by the feedback, rather than helpful or accommodating.
Another downside: the air conditioning isn’t individually controlled in each room — it’s managed centrally, so you don’t have the flexibility to set your own temperature.
Overall, the hotel itself has nice architecture and character, but the gap between what’s advertised and what you actually get, combined with an unhelpful front desk response, left a poor impression.
Historical buildings

Surprisingly walkable to shops and restaurants, or hop across the street for a quick breakfast. Lots of history in the hotel and nearby. Decent rooms and nice staff. The downstairs bar had a speakeasy feel and lots of great vinyls.
Overbilled my credit card and haven't received received the adjustments
Great location for what we were doing.
Paying extra for parking and the parking was difficult to figure out how to get in and out of the parking lot.
