MIMARU Tokyo Ueno Okachimachi

The ladies who checked-in our family (our first time in Japan and the very first property we stayed at during our Japan trip) were so lovely, cute, and sweet.

Beyond this, the room was spacious and perfect for our family of five, the location was great, and they took the time, care, and effort to explain everything to us (while making solid recommendations) for anything/everything we asked the rotating front desk staff.

They had a "halal" box to offer our family which was thoughtfully prepared, curated, and presented to us, which offered a prayer rugs, dishes that were never touched or cross-contaminated with pork/alcohol, etc...I mean seriously, how thoughtful is this!? I've never seen this before at a single property in the world, and we're a well traveled family. Keep doing what you're doing. This was special and something we will always remember.

Upon check-out, Raziel and Laetitia went the extra mile to gift us a gorgeous prayer rug upon our departure as their way of saying thanks to our family. Seriously, the most amazing experience and customer service we experienced right at the start of our month long Japan trip.

We wouldn't hesitate to book here or at any other Mimaru property in Japan when we plan to visit again (and yes, we're already planning a visit to return back). Japan was amazing and unforgettable! 😊

Good location. Staff was charming. Rooms were very clean. Room size suited are family of 4 and had every thing we needed and more. We enjoyed our stay!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and shared sight-seeing and food recommendations for the city and area. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Both the in-suite kitchen facilities and the washer/dryer on the property were very useful. The train stations, Konbinis, convenience stores and malls were a stone's throw away. The hotel was in easy reach of Ueno Park (which was fantastic), as well as the station for the Skyliner access back to Narita airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Super lokalizacja. Perfekcyjna jakość obsługi. Duże, przestronne pokoje. Czysto, cicho. Polecam. Bardzo dobra komunikacja z lotniskiem Narita. Do innych dzielnic również bez problemu można szybko dotrzeć. Pod hotelem dwie linie metra.

The location was close to the public transportation which we used most of the time as well as easy for an Uber/Taxi to pick us up, which we did when ready to leave. We also were able to walk down to Akibahara and up to Ameyoko Market and Ueno Park. There were also great restaurants around. Plus, all of the staff were so lovely, polite, and helpful!

Excellent location, large room that easily accommodated our family of four with two teenagers. Even enough space to move the table aside and three of us to do yoga to stretch out our tired legs. Easy access to many different subways and transport options making travel around the city a breeze. So many food options, but the hotel itself is just between Ueno and Akiba so feels like a quiet retreat from the busy. Washing machines and dryers were very easy to use and always at least one available. Such lovely staff! Comfy beds!

We really loved the staff. They were amazing. Every single member of the team tried to help us in every possible way, and they were kind, lovely, and very helpful. The hotel also offers activities for children waiting in the lobby, and in general the staff were truly wonderful.
