לא נבוא שוב
Pros:

אהבתי את המיטה הנוחה. האדם שקיבל אותנו היה נחמד וזמין, וגם ההודעה שקיבלנו לפני עם הקודים והמיקום.

Cons:

חדר המדרגות היה מלוכלך, היה ריח של סיגריות בחדר ואווירה קצת מפוקפקת. זה היה חדר קטן ובתמונות הכול נראה גדול יותר. הסתובב שם מישהו ועישן כל הזמן והיה קצת מפחיד.

המבנה של החדר מוזר מאוד, איך שנכנסים לחדר יש מקלחת עם דלת שקופה כך שאם מישהו נכנס לחדר הדבר הראשון שהוא יראה זה את האדם השני מתקלח ואפילו אם אדם שעובר במסדרון במקביל היה עובר הוא היה רואה , בחדר שלנו הדלת של המקלחת לא רק הייתה שקופה היא גם לא נסגרה והמים יצאו מהמקלחת החוצה

ניקיון טעון שיפור. אבק בארונות כך שלא ניתן להניח בגדים נקיים. אין צוות שנותן מענה בזמן סביר. תחזוקה ברמה נמוכה. דברים שבורים לא מתוקנים.
בחדר לא היו מספיק מגבות. שלחו אותנו להביא לבד. לא היה מגהץ למרות שהובטח שיש ולא היה עם מי לדבר כי לא ענו.

Don't stay in this hotel
Pros:

Only the location was good, all the rest was very badly.

Cons:

We couldn't communicate with the hotel, there wasn't any staff or people to talk with all the weekend, it took hours to get an answer in WhatsApp after it was irrelavant anymore!
The water in the shower didn't drain, and the room got flooded.
The shower is entirely with windows to everyone in the room to watch, and the toilet has a door that is open from the upper part of it, so everyone in the room can hear everything that going on inside the toilet.
I can't emphasis how much bad the experience of staying in this hotel was.

הניקיון, בכניסה של הלובי, הריצפה מטונפת.
כנ"ל לגבי החדר, במקלחת היו שאריות של סבונים מהאורחים הקודמים.
החדר הריח בשילוב של בישום חזק עם טחב, חנוק. הכיור שבחדר השינה, גם הוא היה מטונף,
המקרר האיר אבל לא קירר בכלל.
את החלון של החדר לא ניתן לפתוח על מנת לאוורר.
כשעלינו למעלה לגג, זה היה נראה כמו מקום נטוש, עזוב. לכלוך, בלאגן, בלי שום רצון לשבת שם, ויש שם פוטנציאל אדיר, הנוף משקיף על כל יפו. ממש חבל.
לא חשבנו בכלל להתלונן, אבל ממש כעסנו כשיצאנו מהחניון. בכניסה למלון, מקבלים הודעה שהחניון גודלמן הוא 30 שח ליום. וחנינו בדיוק שם, לפי ההנחיות של המלון, לפי הווייז שהם נתנו בוואטסאפ. וכשיצאנו בצ'ק אווט, החניון עלה לנו 160 שח. השומר בחניון אמר שזה המחיר 20 שח לשעה ושזה חניון של העירייה. כשפנינו למלון, הם אמרו שזה לא הגיוני ושהמחיר הוא 20 שח. לדעתי לא עדכנו את האוטומציה של הוואטסאפ, מאז שהמלון נפתח. כששיתפנו את האיש קשר של הוואטסאפ, לגבי המצב של הניקיון, והכל.. הוא טען שמאוד קשה בתקופה הזו להחזיק עסק תיירותי ועל כן, הוא מצטער שזה המצב. ואני אומרת, זה כמו להגיש אוכל במסעדה בכלים מלוכלכים. אם אין צוות ראוי, אל תפתח. וזה שאתם גובים מחיר נמוך, זה לא מצדיק תברואתית להלין אנשים בכזה לכלוך. תודה שלפחות המצעים היו נקיים. לא מומלץ בשום צורה. אפס שירות לקוחות, אפס הבנה.
אורחים נוספים שפגשנו במלון, גם הם התלוננו, שהמקום פשוט פח אשפה, מזעזע. מעולם לא יצא לי ללון במקום כזה מטונף.

Great place for a family Jaffa outing and also if you keep Shabbath!
Pros:

This was our first stay at Elmina and we were surprised in many ways: the kindness and much presence of the staff, the ability of the property to accommodate our needs as a family, and as a family observing Shabbath and Jewish holidays. We also felt safe in the hotel, even though there were occasional sirens during the day and at night.
We felt welcome, had much independence and autonomy in this hotel, and to a great extent we received a lot of added value beyond just a room to sleep in.
Also, the rooftop views are amazing!

Cons:

Some rooms are facing the construction site, which is very close to the hotel.

At our specific visit we got an impression the hotel was underbooked for some time, because of the war, so we kind of needed to warm up the space. But eventually - it didn’t really make much difference :)

This hotel is a great location, constantly maintained property with very uniquely designed rooms, and high ceilings. The building is an original Jaffa building probably of the Ottoman period . The downstairs lobby is very ambient place to spend time in, and there is a coffee machine and kitchen facilities available for the guests, which we as a traveling family much appreciated!
