Bright room, allergic to their heavy fragrance…

First day arrival, sunny day, front desk Asian guy was really polite professional and helpful! House keeping people are really professional, nice and helpful!

Cons:

I am allergic to heaving fragrance. All the skincare in the toilet was very heavy scented and it gives me headache. I end up not using shower gel and lotion and I have really drying skin for 2 nights. I just cannot sleep well from cracking skin. The quality of amenities was not very well. The cotton pad is shedding so badly.

There is a front desk Indian guy that was really rude in the night. I wanted to extend my stay and they said they are full booked the next day. So I spend all my afternoon and night looking for another hotel near by… when I came back to hotel late night and ask again the extend, this rude impolite Indian guy show up saying they are fully booked tomorrow. And then I found out my exact same deluxe king bed room was available on booking the next few days… ok at this point I am confused and this guys switch his saying immediately we can offer you a favor to extend… and I was really mad because he is been lieing for the whole time… they he is getting really impolite saying we are doing this favor for you bla-bla-bla… excuse me? Favor? This is not making any sense. I am paying the exact same amount of money to book how is this a favor?

At this point I am so frustrated and decided I would pay double to stay elsewhere rather than seeing this guy again.

This is absolutely unacceptable as service attitude!

Cons:

Overcharged when booking in - they charged me an additional £190 rather than the £100 they advised. Pre-booked breakfast to be told on the first morning I hadn’t. Breakfast was disappointing and bland.

In the room no adequate lighting for applying make up or magnifying mirror for putting in contact lenses. Plug for hairdryer too far away from the mirror and hairdryer nozzle broken. Only 3 tea bags in the room for a 2 night stay for the two of us.
