Quaint hotel with great food
Pros:

Quaint little hotel in the woods well connected to some lovely walks.

Cons:

Our room was very noisy with the storage shed below the room. Something that hotel can not do about are the bikes racing up and down Hauptstrasse for half the night when the weather is good.

Man hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert.
Pros:

Es war alles gut. Der Service war klasse. Besonders gut hat uns die Speisekarte mit dem bergischen Pillekuchen gefallen.

Sehr charmantes Hotel, in sehr tollen Naturlage. Am warmen Tagen fehlt eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer.

Da wir in einer Zeit gereist sind, wo es sehr warm war, hätten wir uns über eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer sehr gefreut. Und beim Frühstück gibt es nur einen Punkt den ich als Negativ beanstanden muss. Die Wurst- und Käseplatte war nicht gekühlt und ohne Abdeckung, so das die Fliegen sich auf der Platte getummelt haben. Was ich persönlich als sehr unangenehm empfand.

Pros:

Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Zum Frühstück gab es eine reichhaltige Auswahl. Eine Unterkunft, die man zum Abendessen aufsuchen kann und nach einem sehr guten Frühstück ausgeruht und zufrieden verlassen kann. Fußläufig entfernt ist ein malerischer Märchenwald, der sehenswerte Altenberger Dom und eine historische Klosteranlage.

Lovely place to stay for a stopover
Pros:

Stayed here a few times and always enjoy our visits. The location in a quiet, wooded area is ideal and dining outside is and excellent bonus in fine weather. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and the food is excellent
