best experience hotel and service
Pros:

I unfortunately forgot the name of the staff member who assisted me during check-in, but I truly want to mention how amazing his service was. He was Italian, and I even spoke a little Italian with him, which made the interaction even more memorable.

Since I had booked four rooms, he kindly spoke to his supervisor and requested a complimentary extra bed for my family. Thankfully, his request was approved, and we were given the extra bed at no additional charge.

This was truly exceptional service and went above and beyond my expectations. He was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring.

Definitely one of the best service experiences I’ve had at The Ritz-Carlton. Thank you so much for making our stay even more special!

Underwhelming for the price
Pros:

Outstanding view and lovely room layout

Cons:

The shower wouldn’t maintain a steady temp, the wind howled through the windows and doors, we could hear people next door and couldn’t sleep - left at 5am just to get some peace and quiet. Staff at checkin and concierge were rude and inattentive. Room service was very bland and no mini bar at all.

Didn’t live up to the reputation
Pros:

The Vitality Pool and sauna were definite highlights of the stay. The bathroom was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the room had a lovely view over the city. Enjoying sunset cocktails at Songbird rooftop bar was a wonderful experience and one of the highlights of the visit. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently warm, welcoming and attentive.

Cons:

Overall, the hotel was enjoyable, but for the price I expected a more polished luxury experience. The room showed some signs of wear, and I was surprised there wasn't a minibar, with all drinks and snacks needing to be ordered through room service and a delivery fee applying each time. I also missed having quality complimentary drinking water in the room. Privacy could be improved, as it was possible to see directly into the neighbouring room when the blinds were open. A small turndown touch, such as a chocolate, would have added to the luxury experience. The parking situation could also have been communicated more clearly before arrival. While the service was excellent, the overall experience didn't quite match my expectations.

Great location, good views, although a little pricey.
Pros:

Lovely view from the room and spacious with good facilities. Reception staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The restaurant was a let down, meals were not brought out together and something different was brought out to what was ordered, the the kitchen closed. They did do a refund in the end for the error, however we still hadn’t had a meal.
The heating in our room was broken, so it was freezing when we checked in. Maintenance tried to fix it, but couldn’t, so they gave us a small heater, however this took a while to heat the room, so was pretty chilly for a while.
