The crowds hanging out outside the hotel. Can’t sit on benches to wait to check in.

Very nice location, comfortable beds, clean and modern. Amazing view!
The staff felt a bit uninterested in helping, atmosphere felt very cold. The rooms are super small and breakfast could be better.

Ich war noch nie in so einem hohen Hotel. Meine Aussicht zwar nicht auf's Empire State Building aber trotzdem interessant aus dem 28. Stock! 😀
Die Lage is schon schön zentral, nahe an EST und Metro. Auch Timesquare locker fußläufig zu erreichen. Mit etwas mehr Ausdauer auch der Central Park 😀
Tatsächlich, wie fast alle schreiben, recht klein. Als Alleinreisender mit mittlerem Trolley ging's scho.
Und ja, bei gekipptem Fenster (mehr geht eh nicht) hört man tatsächlich den Straßenlärm auch im 28.Stock. Hat mich aber auch nicht gestört, war immer platt von meinem Tagesprogramm 😉

It was pretty close to Penn Station, which is very convenient.
The staff was unfriendly during check-in. Took more than 20min in line when I arrived because only one person was in the counter (although there were several other employees who were just around and not taking people). The room itself was okay in terms of size, but the sheets were not clean (I could see several stains) and the bathroom had bathroom flies. Finally, be aware that the hotel has something like a “plaza” in front, with some benches and trees which is pretty much occupied by homeless people who are typically around 8th avenue.
