Great reception staff. Nice hotel but needs some basics sorting.
Pros:

Central to the beach and restaurants nearby. Nice rooms, clean and comfortable.

Cons:

It said sea view, which it isn’t really. Overlooking dock yard. Also they should notify or place a charge fee for the mini bar. I’d wrongly assumed it was complimentary and the cost was a little cheeky. My fault but if I’d know the costs I Wouldn’t have had any.
The other thing was no robes for the health spa and you have to pay for a black swim hat. Slightly off putting so we didn’t bother. No active bar person, lacked atmosphere in reception- possibly have some light music or softer lighting.

Excellent short break, we will be back.
Pros:

The location of the hotel is ideal for the beach. We were there for three nights and still didn't see all of Matosinhos.
Fish restaurants are amazing and in abundance.
Breakfast was great. Plenty of fresh choice.

Cons:

If you want to use the pool you need a swimming hat. This caught us out.

The location was good for caminantes and close to good places to eat. The room was big and modern, the bathroom is comfortable.

Cons:

The pool was not attractive to us. Breakfast was a bit weak.
