A little noisy between floors
Beautiful quiet room at the back on the Inn. Very comfortable bed, and great bathroom. Parking in the Inn carpark, which is at a premium given the lack of other parking options.
Staff worked hard, were well organised, kind and thoughtful. Special shout out to Jack, who stepped up to help and at 17 years was very impressive addition to the team. :)
Too many dogs. While its a dog friendly property and staff did their best to manage it there are some improvements that could be considered. Not allowing dogs into the small restaurant room would be a small concession to the rest of us. There is plenty of room outside and in other parts of the pub, which all offer food and dinning.
Inadvertently booked over the long weekend, and overwhelmed with day visitors.
The Castle Inn is a epic place to stay. We been coming every year since 2019. The staff are friendly and polite the food is lovely. The castle Inn is located a 5-10 min walk from Lulworth Cove.

As soon as i checked in, everything was wonderful. The staff couldn't do enough for you - they were so polite & friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and had been equipped to make for a lovely stay - little things such as a hand signed letter from the owner, ear plugs, cookies, good quality tea & coffee, a fan (very grateful for this during my hot stay!). The bed was comfy and I had a great night's sleep.
The pub/restaurant itself is a cosy, thatched roofed building with low ceilings and stone walls. I had dinner in the good sized beer garden which was really reasonably priced (I downloaded the Butsombe app which gave me a discount on food/drink) and it was good quality, fresh, tasty food!
The breakfast was also excellent - really lovely choice of cold & hot food. I had the Turkish eggs which perhaps might have been a bit ambitious for first thing in the morning, but it was lovely!

Sunday roast dinner and breakfast w were fantastic the location was great - an easy stroll to the Cove and track to Durdle Door.
A very cosy and charming inn with plenty of character and a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly.

All good, perhaps garden and outside could do with a bit of a revamp to match the quality of the inside.

Sehr schönes uriges Inn mit Hobbitfeeling. Üppiges aber gutes Essen, super freundliches Personal und einmalige Lage.
kleine Zimmer und sehr niedrige Räume, für große Leute kann es schwierig werden. Das ist aber einfach diesen schönen urigen Häusern geschuldet. Trotzdem alles da, was man braucht. Früher waren die Leute einfach kleiner 😉
This is a magnificent property with the most beautiful and wonderful staff. The room was magic and the breakfast was incredible.
Staff welcoming, friendly and did all they could to help. Good location in a pretty village. Very clean and offered a table booking on arrival and each day of stay. Rooms very clean and attended to each day. Breakfast included in the booking price and car parking.

A lovely inn. We really enjoyed our stay - too bad we were only here for 2 days. Next time around we'll book a longer stay!
A really pleasant stay with a group of friends. The location is very convenient for walking down to Lulworth Cove and accessing the nearby trails. Inside, the hotel was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff were very nice and professional, and the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. A very positive experience overall.
