Great place, charming, helpful staff, good food, and would visit again
Pros:

The staff are great. Helpful and friendly. The room was well appointed with nice touches all around. It's an old building so tall people need to duck, so there was a bit of crouching around in the room, but that is par for the course in an old building like this. The charm of the building more than makes up for it. Location is excellent - ten minute walk from the cove so not as busy and touristy. Food is good in the pub, as is the breakfast.

Cons:

Great place but £300 for one night in country Inn in England is a bit steep - but hey ho, that is the world today

Luxurious hotel with great food!
Pros:

The food at Castle Inn is superb, and the staff really went out of their way to meet our needs (e.g., getting an early-morning taxi when we couldn't reach one on our phone). This is a very interesting area, with some beautiful paths that allow you to get off the main roads.

Cons:

Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door are strong tourist attractions, so there was a lot of human and auto traffic when we were there. This was partly due to a bank holiday and school vacation, but the large number of people in a small town was somewhat oppressive. Of course, that's not the fault of the Castle Inn --- they were great hosts. I would have liked stronger bed-side lights for reading, and I wish they had more kitchen staff. Evey though the food was great, getting it to the tables took awhile.

Don’t look anywhere else for a great stay near Durdle Door.
Pros:

It’s pretty rare you go to place where all the staff are so well trained on exceptional hospitality. On a very busy, hot bank holiday Monday we had a very welcoming stay and dinner with top local recommendations and friendly chat.

Nothing.

Castle Inn, West Lulworth
Pros:

This is a very lovely hotel, with welcoming, friendly and efficient staff. The food was top class, both for dinner and breakfast. Great location for several nearby attractions. The building has character throughout but is also modern and stylish with all the facilities you need. Highly recommend

Cons:

Nothing, although would need to check how accessible it is if that's needed as it's a very old building so don't know if any adaptations have been made.

Personalet er utrolig søde.

Fint værelse med vand, te og kaffe på værelset.
God seng og meget rent.

Dejlig morgenmad.

Vi spiste aftensmad på den tilhørende pub og det var også super lækkert.

God beliggenhed i hyggelig by og er tæt på Lulworth Cove og Durdle Door.

Perfect for where we needed to be. A very pleasant place to stay
Pros:

Room was nice and comfortable with everything we needed in it.

Food was very good. Breakfast & evening meal

Staff very friendly and polite

Location was perfect for where we were visiting during the day

Cons:

We stayed for 2 nights.
The only negative i could possibly say is if we were staying for a longer period a couple more additions to the menu would be welcomed
