Gorgeous property!! It is a museum in your lobby and the facility is huge! Everything you need is here, definitely a must.
Most of the staff is rude. Upon check-in one of my two rooms was ready and the very nice and accommodating woman offered champagne and apologies. Upon checking back I dealt with a gentleman who was brief, rude and extremely condescending. I was on the property for two hours at that point and it was an hour and 45 minutes passed check-in time. I was assured that it would be a few minutes and then 15 minutes… a bellhop stepped in and took me to someone else. In the lobby Turbine Cafe the waiter was rude, rushing us when there was no wait and throwing plates and drinks. He essentially threw my wife’s smoothie at her. Everyone else was great and the hotel is amazing!
The stay was a little unsettling between a rude racist front desk manager. My complaints to her about the false messaging from the hotel team were not a concern to her. The A/C in the entire facility was not operating blaming the utility company for damaging hotel cooling equipment. From someone who runs a multi billion dollar engineering portfolio, the story from the engineers did not line up with the hotel manager message to guest. When I inquired further your employees folded and couldn't answer basic topology of systems. I did learn that you have two chillers for the property and a slip up on the engineering teams part was that they had one machine down for maintenance with no backup available after the outage of the working unit. The story could of been that simple but lying to your guest is not acceptable when your are trying to undermined their intelligence.
I won't comment on the condition of the internal state of the room chilled water package units. If you'd like to see that and what the air quality implications those will cause please reach out to me. It shouldn't be hard to find me as we have call into the cooperate office pending outcome.

The balcony and view of the river on the second floor is horrible. It’s obstructed about 50-55% by the Starbucks building.
We actually stayed at the Marriott Savannah Riverfront but stopped by here on the way out of town to take a look at the gems and dinosaurs. Would recommend this to our kids when they travel with their grand children. Even if you do not stay here the exhibits are open to the public and there is a hourly parking garage located just downriver from the property.
Very well done!
Great location!
The valet parking was a little pricey
Good location.
The magician Robert was AMAZING!! Still can’t figure out what he did and in mind blown! 🤯
Super nice the drinks were good and the ambiance was fun. The magician Robert was great and had very entertaining tricks
We were not guest of the hotel. But we did step into the amp brunch over at electric moon, and got to see Robert Morland the magic curator. The absolute artistry which he is not easy to put into words. He even left us with an amazing souvenir that will cherish forever. I literally screamed. Thank you, Plant Riverside!
Robert Moreland, the magic curator at the amp brunch is fantastic. He joined our table kept us so entertained with his card tricks. I’ve been on cruises I and seeing my share of magicians, but Robert is the peak. He was personable with great showmanship. Definitely will be back!
The magician at AMP’d brunch was soooo good. Unexpected and so delightful!
So much fun with Fi, Erika and Steph at the rooftop pool bar!
The history and the style
Couldn’t find ice machine.
;The noise at night is ridiculous. It's almost comical. The bass is pumping throughout the whole building and the music is loud enough you can clearly hear the lyrics of a song in certain parts of the room. The fact they have ear plugs and sound machines in the room should tell you enough. Too bad it doesn't help with the bass at all. They should have a warning to any guest staying here that unless you plan on staying out partying yourself, you better go somewhere else. Anyone wanting to stay here stay away. The hotel itself is beautiful but just come during the day and see it and leave at night to actually be able to get some rest.
Added to that room wasn't ready till over an hour past checking time, the wifi and room phone weren't working.
I hate to give it 1 star because the staff actually were really nice but the noise issues overtakes any of that.
Parking fee high we did not move car in three days and paid $175 for parking
The closeness to the historical district.
Make sure the keys of your vehicle is placed correctly in accordance to your car.
Great location, comfortable bedrooms
Not what I would call 5 star service. Nobody to help with bags. Some very grumpy staff.
We enjoyed a memorable stay for several nights at this JW. The staff is exceptional and gracious, and the rooms were relaxing. The concierge staff always offered to assist in any way possible, and Mr. K. Patel in particular went our of his way to provice us assistance. He is definitely to be commended.
Also, the waitstaff in the breakfast restaurant were always gracious, congenial, efficient, and cheerful.
