Suites are large and all the furnishing and fittings were contemporary and new. Kitchen is fully equipped.

Parking is expensive
We had another great experience at one of the Docents Loft's in the old port. The loft was perfectly located in Portland. Everything you needed was steps away from the property. The appliances are all brand new and the loft is beautiful
We stayed at the Docent's Collection in Portland, ME for the start of our honeymoon. The apartment was very nice, clean, quiet, and high quality. The bathroom and shower were awesome, and the bed was comfortable. The location of the apartment was fantastic. We will definitely stay again.
Stayed here for a girl's weekend in Portland and cannot recommend enough. The apartments are lovely and very nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was fantastic and everything was within a few blocks. I will absolutely stay here again next time I am in Portland.
Was perfect location. Was beautiful building and apartment.
The only issue was that the refrigerator was not working when we arrived. However the staff worked on it immediately and resolved the issue quickly

The property is exactly as described and photographed. It was an extremely clean and well thought out loft - I had everything I needed for my stay. Location is perfect and there’s plenty of walkable restaurants, shops, bars, etc. I was a single female staying, and I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe while walking around the area at any time of the day/night.
Parking is a little annoying - there’s a lot next-door behind a neighboring building that’s real close - but nobody could give me an actual reason on why I couldn't park there. So they sent me two blocks away to a different lot without any real explanation and I wasn’t sure if my car was going to be there in the morning.
Additionally they could use some more welcoming and informative front door staff - the young female I interacted with was far from helpful or pleasant to speak with.

The staff - had a very odd encounter with the female door staff upon arrival. She could definitely use some more experience in custom service and explaining things - she was just young, no personality and maybe not experienced enough in helping people. It was an odd interaction and her explanation of my questions about parking were just kind of absurd and ill informed.
DC is gorgeous. Peaceful colors and sophisticated. High ceilings, large rooms, palladium windows. Well equipped. Kitchen was great. Beds, pillows and linens were nice quality, firm and very comfortable. Great location. The downsides: the living room furniture was uncomfortable and the bathrobes were way too small. There were no closets other than the coat closet. Parking is expensive although it is in and out for $60. Those will not deter us returning though. Staff was super helpful and responsive.

Docent always provides excellent service. The concierge is efficient and pleasant. The accommodations are easy clean, modern, and quiet. We always have an excellent stay.
The team was proactive with communications, thoughtful, professional, and experts! Perfectly located to walk in many directions for attractions and eateries. A rental car was not needed. The place was expertly cleaned, beautifully decorated, and everything worked perfectly. Great security measures, felt extremely safe. Police station a few buildings down.
