Very good stay in Golspie
Pros:

Good location in Goslpie, convenient both for the station and Dunrobin Castle. The place also has a good cafe for lunch. The bedroom was spacious and well furnished, and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Toiletries in the room can be a bit bigger. Adding a hairdryer in the room could be a good plus.

The friendly relaxed atmosphere, it felt like being at home. Would love to come back soon.

Perfect get away, ideal for exploring Sutherland, fantastic hosts
Pros:

Fantastic place to stay - very friendly staff and owner, made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
Bed was super comfy, room was well decorated and maintained, lovely colours and design. Shower was powerful.
Breakfast was delicious, pre-order the night before, good choice and as much as you wanted to order. Granola, fruit and yogurt was my favourite although the sausage in a bun was a close 2nd!

Cons:

The room could've had a socket nearer a mirror so I could use my hairdryer and tongs without over stretching the cables and the bathroom could do with a blind on the frosted window - with the light on in the dark, not much would be left to the imagination from outside. Little things cos it really was soooooooo good.

Delightful stay. Excellent all round. 10/10
Pros:

The room was clean and beautifully appointed with a comfy bed and a good strong shower.
Two course breakfast was delicious and plentiful
All staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful

Cons:

Can't fault the whole experience at all. It was a joy to stay here. Comfortable and relaxing

Great place, staff super friendly and helpful.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent only downside was that there is not yet any evening food available. I’m talking to April, it may be in the long term plan, however, excellent lunch and breakfast. The staff were all really great, helpful and friendly. Thoroughly recommend as a place to stay!

Very welcoming all round. Lovely clean spacious room, with comfortable bed. Good location for exploring the area. Whether you are stopping in Golspie or travelling on, be sure to pop in for a coffee.

Fabulous stopover for NC500.
Pros:

The Salt House is a fabulous place to stay. We were driving the NC500 and this is perfectly located, a few minutes drive to Dunrobin Castle.
Alice greeted us warmly and could not do enough for us, she went over and beyond.
The rooms were gorgeously decorated, each with its own theme.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and we would definitely return.

It was a pleasant stay in a great area for golf and walks.
Pros:

It was very clean and the staff were chatty and helpful. The breakfast was also fantastic.

Cons:

There was no dinner service due to renovations, no fault of the staffs.

If felt like home vs s hotel.
Pros:

Great location, lots of personal touches and upcycled decor. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Wonderful home cooked breakfast!

Cons:

Took a few minutes to figure out the correct temperature on the electric shower.
