This property is beautifully appointed and the staff are all terrific. I felt cared for and welcomed every step of the way. The room is beautiful, large and comfortable in every way. I would like to live for the rest of my life in this hotel.
Oddly, the sprayer shower head didn’t stay positioned but I could use the rain shower head (which I don’t like as much). It’s a tiny detail.
I was at the end of a long walk, and in need of a comfortable place to sit and check email. I walked in the front entrance of Raffles Le Royal, and was immediately greeted by a smiling and lovely hostess as well as Mr. Kanhol Ya, who told me I was welcome to sit in their lobby, and even sent me a delicious and refreshing lemongrass tea to cool off with. Exceptionally friendly people are actually pretty common in this city, and I am pleased to report that Raffles is full of the graceful and friendly atmosphere that makes Phnom Penh such a special place.
Old world elegance in a sophisticated hotel
Peaceful and beautiful gardens. Loaded with history and so brilliant to see it.
The staff were amazing and personal. They were incredibly helpful and couldnt do enough.
Very relaxing
Take time for a drink in the Elepahnat Bar
There was nothing negative about my stay
Staying at Raffles Hotel Le Royal is far more than just a luxury hotel visit; it is a profound encounter with Cambodian history. The architectural patience and heritage of the house are beautifully preserved.A special praise must be shared for Restaurant Le Phnom, which offers an exceptional and deeply impressive atmosphere. My highest appreciation goes to IM SREYDY (Dy Smille) for the outstanding service and attention to detail. Furthermore, a heartfelt thank you to Fiona Wang for her exceptional hospitality and the insightful, personal tour through the iconic Jacqueline Kennedy Suite. This house truly finds the deep, authentic voice it deserves. I am already filled with great anticipation for my next return !
Everything. The colonial building, the quality facilities, the elephant bar, and the incredible service from staff.
Absolutely nothing I disliked. Rooms were on the small side but we had an extra bed for kid so that was probably why it felt a bit tight.
Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh is one of the Best if not the Best 5 Star Hotel I’ve ever had the extreme pleasure of staying at in my life! Sharon and Fiona were exceptional as Hotel Managers!!! They went above and beyond to make sure my stay as their guest was of the highest quality standard! Next time I’m in Phnom Penh I will only stay at Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh!!!
Nothing everything was perfect!!!
We had such a wonderful experience in most amazing hotel. The ambience and the decor of the hotel and restaurant was sensational. Our waitress for the evening, Pisey, went out of her way to make us feel special and welcome as did the other staff in their allocated roles. We will definitely be coming back upon our next visit - so until then please keep our seats warm and we look forward to seeing you again - Ian Davies
A beautiful hotel with a wonderful ambience. You can feel the stress leaving your body as you walk into the lobby! The Elephant Bar is a gem. And the staff are professional and very helpful.
There is practically no storage space for clothing in the room, nor for toiletries in the bathroom. It seems they've sacrificed functionality for aesthetics. But that left us with belongings strewn all over the place, and the rooms are on the small side. The old traditional-type room keys (actual keys!) are a nice touch - but sometimes the fact that we only had one was quite inconvenient. These are small things but improving them would add a lot to an already great hotel.
Very beautiful, neat and well maintained
Nothing
Beautiful old style hotel, really comfortable room and incredibly peaceful. Lovely staff, great bar and amazing breakfast. Historic feel and really amazing overall.
I docked the hotel a point because I think the butler service (as it's called) is basically not that at all and is more like a concierge. Also I think it was just not that well done i.e. car I booked for onward travel was a public taxi but the one they arranged was old and battered car and actually broke down on way to destination, also when I sent them a Whatsapp one evening, they didn't even respond until next day. Ultimately it didn't really bother me but I thought better to give them feedback on this part of the service as if anything I would have rather they not mentioned or offered it at all as it actually took away from my overall experience where everything else was pretty perfect.
