Room was a little warm
Beautiful, clean, luxurious! Surely the epitome of a high-end hotel. Staff are all so efficient and professional. The food is top notch. I highly recommend the Garden City Hotel when you’re in the area!
The hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly. It was a quick stay . I wish I had been able to visit the restaurant and pool. I live the smell of the soaps and shampoo.
We stayed in the Penthouse and it was a new experience for us. The atmosphere and custom service was outstanding. We enjoyed the morning breakfast.
Just a beautiful hotel, old world charm. From the moment we stepped into the hotel everyone was very nice. We had a wedding in the area and this hotel was just the perfect choice and addition to our weekend, I would not hesitate to stay here again, it was super comfortable and the bathroom and rooms are very well appointed.
Good hotel, but the service is never perfect there.
One problem is they have the latest check-in time of any hotel around - 4pm, and the last time I went to check in at 4pm, they didn't have any rooms ready yet, so a number of guests had to sit and wait inthe lobby for 10 minutes. Not exactly first class service.
When the hotel sent me to a survey to take I mentioned this problem and then got an obnoxious letter from their guest relations manager sort of apologizing, but then half blaming me for the problem. I showed up a few minutes early! But, he ignored the fact that even at 4pm not a single room was ready for another 10 minutes.
The staff in the hotel lobby were very gracious and professional. But the rest of the operation is pretty sloppy of they didn't have a single room ready and we all had to wait.
The hotel was wonderful and the staff amazing. Perfect walking distance the to village and plenty of food and shops. The only complaint I had was that the pool area closes at 7pm. This is way too early considering it is indoor and isolated from all of the guests rooms.

The rooms are beautiful! The Beds, Pillows are extremely comfortable maybe too comfortable! They are spacious, the bathroom is perfect with plenty of amenities.
The value & service you receive is worth the price! The Hotel is SPOTLESS! Every inch! I think the dirt and dust are afraid of coming in.
The noise is extremely at a very comfortable level in all areas. Even the events on the Patio Bar. Nothing is too over the top and well balanced.
They have great amenities and everything is at your fingertips!
As for the service you CAN’T BEAT IT! PERIOD!! Nice, helpful, friendly, cordial and inviting! The entire stay! Everyone smiles says hello and treats you like you’re truly the invited guest!
Great visit, always return to GC Hotel when need to be in the area. Noticed several staff members from previous visits, good sign when a property retains their personnel.
Property is beautiful and well maintained. Especially love the Patio Bar, great setting.
Location and atmosphere were great! The room needs some updates. The ceiling paint was chipping and falling on our heads, the toilet didn’t flush well and ran all night, and the room was not cleaned/made up. I asked them to do it and they said they didn’t have the staff. I asked them to replenish towels, washcloths, glasses and coffee items used and they back 3 times. Also, there was only one elevator working.
Nice location. The hotel is in a plush area of Nassau County,, NY, with well manicured landscape. Easy access to the LIRR and nearby shopping malls via 10 minute drive. Also lots of eateries and gourmet shops nearby. My room was a bit dated but really well maintained and clean. I used my data plan throughout the entire 4-day visit, but since the TV functioned well, I’d say the WiFi was efficient. Room service was a bit delayed but I was pleased with selections. Overall, a good stay that I would not rank at 5-star, but very satisfactory.
Perfect walkable location to train, restaurants, shopping and library. The hotel is spotless and the staff were kind , accommodating and responsive to any requests. The customer service is exemplary . The pool is an oasis- if you want a peaceful hotel - with top of the line amenities this hotel has it all.
