Ask for a room on the side away from the road and get breakfast in a cafe on Byers Road
Pros:

Great location and easy parking

Cons:

Very noisy. My room looked straight over the junction between the Great Western Road and Byers Road. No sound insulation so noise kept me up most of the night. Cooked breakfast was cold. But room was clean, bed comfy and staff very pleasant.

Friendly place in a great location
Pros:

The staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The parking is a bit of a challenge and appears poorly organised. We were lucky to get what looked like the last space but it was hard to tell because the hotel spaces were not marked.

Very shabby - disappointing.
Pros:

Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The room was very happy, stains on carpet, light not working, windows filthy, doors on drawers and cabinets didn't close properly.
I'd expected a good quality stay for the price, and it was not good enough, at all. I was very disappointed.
Also, no vegan breakfast options? Very poor in this day and age.

Convenient and made welcome by lovely staff.
Pros:

Location was excellent and the staff were lovely

Cons:

A bit tired in places and the parking is challenging, especially if you have driven a long way as we had.

A fine stay
Pros:

This is a fine place to stay right in the city so the location is good and there is free parking onsite either in the small lot outside the entrance or the garage across the street.

Cons:

Though nicely decorated, rooms and bathroom were a little outdated and the staff was not the friendliest. Parking was confusing in the garage as we didn’t know where to go or if we had to mark our car somehow.

Beware, our gps took us to the back of the property which is a long no-exit road. Had to go around to the other side.

Below average hotel, which looks like it needs some maintenance to get it back up to speed
Pros:

The location was ideal for what we had planned for the day.

Cons:

Poor window surrounds flaking and rotting, really noisy from kitchen lift, we were woken at approx 6am with the noise.
Car park very small and got blocked in by another resident, who had park not in a space as the carpark was full

Fantastic location & large rooms.
Pros:

Fantastic location, comfy bed, large room.

Cons:

No aircon (but supplied a fan), no glasses/cups in bathroom, one elevator out of action whilst we were there, that left one small one to use. Quite noisy as private functions taking place.

Dated hotel but useful location for Glasgow west end
Pros:

Location for our visit was excellent. We needed a west end location not central glasgow

Cons:

Looked dated, dark, lack of room information, curtain held back with plastic garden tie ….

Enjoyable stay but could be improved with just a few adjustments.
Pros:

Location was good for the wedding venue we were attending.

Cons:

For the price of the rooms there were a few issues. There was a tear on the quilt cover, window frames were filthy, the button to switch the water from bath to shower was faulty and didn’t stay down easily along with some grouting that could have been updated. There was also an issue with the lifts, which didn’t always come when you pressed the button, apparently they had been reported and we were told they were working fine but they obviously weren’t based on the time it took for them to move floors.
