Excellent clean hotel
Pros:

Staff where really welcoming and friendly
The restaurant was closed but the opened up for us as there where 7 of us and not enough room at bar
Rooms where large and very clean, clean fresh towels and bedding and toiletries on the wall to use. Plus hair dryer with a mirror near a plug

Cons:

That we where only there fir 1 night

It was a very pleasant, comfortable stay - and we would stay again if in the area.
Pros:

Easy parking/off loading, very friendly & efficient staff in reception & the bar/food areas and generally.
We had a small dog with us & the staff & room were very pet friendly.
The room was spacious & very comfortable.
We had a bar meal in an area where the dog was allowed to be too and we had different meals.
Each meal was really delicious and we would recommend the presentation, taste and quality.
Again, the staff involved were very friendly.
Pleasant grounds to walk about with our dog and suitable provision of dog bins too.

Cons:

We stayed for 1 night and a lively large spider (leg spread about 2 cm) was in the bath on our arrival.
We found 2 more that day on the bathroom floor and 1 the following morning - all in the bathroom.
The largest fixed table beside the bed by design looked like it might have a drawer (but actually was not) but when I tried to pull it open my fingers came away with a sticky substance on them requiring vigorous washing off.

Reported both spiders & stickiness on leaving and had 'appropriate' sympathetic responses from the reception staff.

The Best Hotel in Northampton
Pros:

If you're staying in Northampton, book nowhere else but here. Great hotel and facilities but above all the staff are superb and always go above and beyond.
Great services especially from Marta who really went the extra mile when my daughter and I arrived just on time for the end of breakfast and ensured we had more than enough by repeatedly checking in on us.
Ben the manager was absolutely superb and personally attended our room to ensure the smart TV was good for us to watch movies on the apps, as we had some technical issues. Again was brilliant and went above and beyond. Thank you so much.
And thank you also once again to Andrea and Vicky who were superb as always. I am a regular here for a reason and will continue to be. Could not recommend this place enough. Thank you.

Pros:

Lovely staff, especially at the bar/restaurant

Cons:

Restaurant was expensive and the food was average; disappointing for the price. Bed linen: pillows smelled like they needed a wash.
