Cleanliness and the location. Big beds and clean table.
No slippers nor complimentary toothbrushes/tooth paste.
The greeting was very polite and helpful, the hotel communal areas were nice and clean including the bar area. Staff were very polite kind and friendly. Room was very nicely done with little touches like the greeting on the TV screen etc. Toiletries were of good quality. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. The bar was nice, with a relaxed and calm atmosphere which after a hard day was very welcome.
The bathroom in the room smelt of drains. Once I ran the shower this seemed to sort the issue but really it should have been checked because the smell of an open drain is not really very welcoming when first entering. The bar food was a little underwhelming for the price. Portions were conservative and the club sandwich with the additional egg was a bit greasy. Still tasty though.
The staff were all extremely helpful - they changed our room on arrival to a ground floor room which was more accessible for my father. The room was excellent and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast in the morning had a great selection of food.

Hotel was lovely and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful, let us check in our friends on their behalf as running late.
The bed was not very comfortable and the pillows were not firm enough.

I was given a room upgrade, and the room was great, comfortable bed and lots of space.
Im a gluten free traveller, and get sick if I eat it, the chef was great and the food was good in the restaurant, they were able to give me a gluten free bun with the burger and the chips were fried in clean oil so also safe
The room was very warm, a fan had been provided but as it was 29° and the window only opens a crack air con would have been nice!
In the bar a bottle of gluten free beer would have been good with dinner but they didnt have any.
Breakfast doesnt start till 7 on Saturday which was annoying as I had to leave before that, they gave me a bag of bits to take away, but Id have preferred something more before a busy day at work, and being so close to Silverstone, Id imagine many guests would be going there early at the weekend

Locality for event
It’s a lovely spot to visit friends and family!
It lacks air conditioning to maintain a cool room temperature and an elevator for luggage.
Comfortable nice new rooms.
Room was missing a fridge, water that my friends had in exactly the same room. The renovation of the rooms stopped at the bathrooms and still the same as when I visited two years ago
