Please note, the property offers valet parking only and it costs £30 per day. Guests must not park their own car unless using Clifford's car park opposite, which is run by the council. Please be aware that the Clifford's Tower is undertaking some vital conservation works to protect the tower and make improvements for visitors - this will restrict your view of the tower slightly from some of the rooms, but everything will be back to normal later this year. Sorry for the inconvenience

Pros:

Fantastic stay, the staff were excellent and helpful. Included breakfast was very good and the restaurant for dinner was exceptional. We will be back.

Location ideal
Pros:

The property was in a location for our needs and the cost was only a fraction more than another major brand hotel but it included breakfast. The room had a large bed extremely comfortable the room also had a wardrobe and adjoined cupboards and a safe at the bottom of the bed was a very large television the bathroom was very well laid out and included a good selection of towels the breakfast was excellent and laid out over a large area which meant you could easily get around

Nice but we wouldn’t stay in the Hilton again.
Pros:

The room was clean , staff were nice , breakfast in the room was ok.

Cons:

Couldn’t park in the hotel, had to pay for parking at extra cost which was really expensive so be careful when booking. It cost us £50 pounds for parking and that was for one night.

Lovley short break in York.
Pros:

The situation of the hotel is excellent for access to all the main attractions in York. The room was comfortable and clean and the choice at breakfast was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Room very poor
Pros:

Room was no fit for purpose, way too small, I had to iron clothes outside room, I had presents for wife’s birthday that I could give get as no space in the room. Disgusting for nearly 500 pounds.
