Pros:

The location is so good and convenient close to the metro station. Also, facilities and room is spacious and huge with king bed size

Cons:

Only thing that I needed to highlight when I booked standard room and somehow it came to be in floor where smooking was allowed. The room smelled terrible as I don’t smoke but I had to pay 48K ¥ difference to get another room

Pros:

Hotelli oli rautieasemalla ( Kyoto station). Rullaportaita pitkin pääsi suoraan laiturialueelle. Asemalla oli myös pari ruokakauppaa, josta sai nopeasti ostettua eväitä. Ruokaravintolat olivat parin minuutin kävelyetäisyydellä Kyoto Towerin alakerrassa ja Yodobashin 6. krs. Aamupala ei sisältynyt varaukseen. Se oli mielestämme kallis ( 27€). Aamupala olisi ollut japanilainen: riisiä, misokeittoa jne. Hotelli super siisti. Huoneiden siivous joka päivä. Erittäin ystävällinen henkilökunta. Kävimme myös muutaman kerran kuntosalilla ja uima-altaalla. Sisäänpääsy altaalle ja salille yhteensä 1100 yeniä. Uimaratoja oli 3. Pituus 20 metriä. Kaikki supersiistiä. Hotellihuoneessa iso valikoima tarvikkeita: partahöylä, harja, hammasharja, vanulaput, yöpuku jne.

Cons:

Olisin toivonut länsimaalaisempaa aamupalaa. Aamupalan hinta oli kallis.

Pros:

This is a really nice property. Great location if doing lots of trips around. Great food locations underneath and close to Isetan for shopping. The train station is really cool building.

Cons:

Not a lot. Just a bit more costly but worth it.

Excellent hotel - fantastic staff and really lovely room. Location was so convenient!
Pros:

Excellent location right in the train station, but didn't feel like a station hotel, felt v separate. Service was fantastic. We ended up upgrading to a larger suite because one of our kids was sick and we couldn't face squeezing a family into a twin room - it really exceeded our expectations, super spacious and big comfy beds. When we'd checked in they'd aput bed guards on the kids bed - we hadn't even asked. Great customer service.

Cons:

Slight mixed messaging / confusion around whether they charge for kids' breakfasts - but otherwise, can't fault it.

We had a great time and would definitely book Granvia again, but with a room near the lifts.
Pros:

Near the Kyoto Station and very well accessible for Trains and Taxi.
Breakfast was very good and the Staff were excellent.
The only problem was that the hotel was very big and going to the room and getting back to the lobby was a long distance walk !

UNA EXCELENTE OPCIÓN PARA MOVERSE EN KYOTO
Pros:

La entrada es imponente, muy elegante y bien ubicado, muy silencioso. Estuvimos en una habitación muy grande y cómoda, con una vista espectacular a la ciudad. Como está en la estación hay saliendo del hotel de todo para comer y tiene un 7 eleven junto.

Cons:

Lástima que no tienen lavandería de monedas, hubiera sido genial, pero realmente es por la categoría del hotel

Hotel inside sprawling Kyoto station has well trained staff and nice restaurant with spacious rooms.
Pros:

Can't beat the location, right smack inside Kyoto Station. The train station atrium is a marvel, clearly updated in great style not long ago. It has a Grand Staircase opposite the hotel, across the atrium which does a light show in the evening over very wide stairs extending about 6 or 7 floors. Adjacent to staircase are many restaurant choices easily accessed by escalators. 3 Blocks from the station is a large temple complex.
Breakfast and lunch restaurant buffet was way above average with many western and Japanese selections in an elegant room. Not at all expensive for what was offered.
Mr. Shogo, one of the senior concierges is a treasure; able to solve a difficult travel problem I asked him about.
The registration area lobby is spacious, relaxing and has a terrific fresh flower display. Our room was pretty large and a good value.

Cons:

long hallways leading to rooms were not air conditioned and we had some hot weather
