Iconic hotel in perfect location; worth the splurge if you are able
Pros:

This iconic hotel was our splurge for our first two nights in Japan (repeat visit for me, first time for my spouse). It was sooooooo worth saving money for this special experience (for us). Incredible service, amenities, history, pajamas, various locations in the hotel, the view of the Imperial Palace right out of our window, the comfort of the bed, perfect climate control in the room, being RIGHT in Tokyo station and all that it offers, etc. etc. Absolutely loved it.

Cons:

Nothing, but just a note that unlike other hotels we stayed at around Japan, it is discouraged to wear your post-onset pajamas around the hotel, even from the spa back to your room.

Un soggiorno davvero splendido. Il livello di accoglienza e la gentilezza di tutto lo staff sono stati eccezionali: un ringraziamento speciale per essere venuti ad accoglierci direttamente al binario dello Shinkansen al nostro arrivo da Kyoto, un'attenzione al cliente davvero rara e apprezzatissima.

La colazione è stata straordinaria, con un buffet ricchissimo, una scelta pressoché completa e prodotti di primissima qualità.

Camere eleganti, pulizia impeccabile e letti estremamente comodi che garantiscono un riposo perfetto. Posizione impareggiabile e comodissima. Consigliatissimo!

日本の丁寧なおもてなしがギュッと詰まった素晴らしいホテル

東京駅直結。歴史のある大変古いホテルでありながら、とても綺麗で清潔で、クラシックさもあり同時にモダンさもあり、とにかく素敵なホテルでした。スタッフの方々も大変親切で丁寧で、素晴らしい接客でした。チェックインの瞬間からからチェックアウトまで、感動の連続でした。お部屋の天井が今まで見たことがないほど高く、内装もインテリアも素敵すぎて、ぜひぜひもう一度泊まってみたい❣️とても思わせてくれるホテルでした。

　スタッフの方が皆さん親切で、部屋までご案内いただいた時に不明点も丁寧に教えて下さいました。チェックイン前でしたが荷物を預かっていただき大変助かりました。
　東京駅の喧騒と全く正反対のとても静かな空間で豪華なだけでなくとても落ち着いた時間を過ごすことが出来ました。
　部屋は天井が高くてお風呂がとても快適で、執務机の照明が明るくてとても助かりました。館内ツアーガイドをいただけるのでホテル内を歩くだけでも楽しくなります。
　食事は夜、朝、昼の順で全てホテル内のレストラン、バーでとりましたがとても美味しかったです。
　スタッフ、設備、食事、立地、歴史の全ての面でこれ以上ない位、最高でした。
