Stunning Karma resort
Pros:

We had an absolutely incredible stay and genuinely cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

The decor throughout the resort is stunning – stylish, beautifully designed and luxurious without feeling over the top. Everywhere felt thoughtfully done and created such a relaxing atmosphere.

Our two-bedroom villa with private pool was simply perfect. It was even better than the photos (which rarely happens!) – so much larger and more spacious than expected, with everything we needed. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped, and the outdoor bathrooms were such a special touch and made the whole stay feel unique and indulgent.

One of the biggest highlights was the service. We have stayed in other luxury resorts in Thailand and honestly the level of warmth and attention here was on another level. Every member of staff was genuinely friendly, always smiling, and constantly offering to help. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to anticipate what guests needed before being asked.

The pool and restaurant area were also fantastic. Visiting in June meant it never felt crowded – there was always plenty of space to relax by the pool, and some evenings we even had the bar almost entirely to ourselves, which felt incredibly special. Such a clever touch having service buttons on every table so a waiter would come when needed without ever feeling intrusive.

The food deserves a special mention too because it was exceptional. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all consistently delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. We especially appreciated that dishes were full of flavour without being overly spicy, making it easy for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The location was ideal as well – an easy walk to Coco Tam’s for the fire show and perfectly placed for exploring Fisherman’s Village and the market while still feeling peaceful and tucked away.

Cons:

The only small thing was the quality of water at the beach which is obviously not the hotels fault, but this was part of a longer Thailand trip and we happily enjoyed the sea in other resorts so don’t let it put you off!

Pretty beachfront boutique resort
Pros:

Karma Resort is a small, boutique property on the beach with a lovely outlook and nice decor. The restaurant provides a great location for meals and drinks, and the staff are polite and attentive.
The sea water at the time of our visit was murky and not great for swimming. Fortunately the property has a small but lovely pool.

Cons:

The property is located down a difficult to find and narrow lane way and the reception is separated from the main property.
The bed in our room was on a raised concrete platform which looks aesthetically pleasing but made getting in and out of bed a little tricky, especially in the dark. And the pebbled floor in the bathroom was painful to walk on in bare feet.

En fantastisk resort med drömmiga rum
Pros:

Otroligt fint hotell med bra service. Vi gillade stilen på hotellet och närheten till havet. Poolen med utsikt över havet var superfin och bekväm. Bara 2 minuter från hotellet låg en restaurang som vi åt på flertalet gånger som serverade den bästa thaimaten vi ätit i hela thailand.

Cons:

Vi saknade att kunna beställa snacks vid poolen såsom toast eller lite pizza eller liknande. Gick att beställa en full måltid eller dryck men vi saknade något lättare.
