As we were in a big group, they ran out of food for breakfast.
Location, it was far from the airport. There was not many places within walking distance to go for dinner.
Cigarette smoke was everywhere, in the main areas, in our room. This was difficult as I am an asthmatic.
Used as a stopover for tourists it needs to manage menus and alcohol availability better.
Try American or Australian breakfast buffets. Beer should be much cheaper for the quantities consumed

We stayed twice during our visit to Istanbul. During our first stay, the room was ok. The hotel was nice, the staff were OK
During our first stay, the room was ok. We asked for tissues, but kept receiving toilet paper. We booked a tour, and we were told we had to pay in cash - not easy to get this at the hotel's location. Our second stay was in the B block, and the room was terrible. The bathroom was very small and dangerous for older people. The food was ok but could be better.
Naz is very friendly and the hotel is amazing nothing to much for any of the staff x
Very nice hotel, very well located. I liked the pool and the sauna. They have a great gym, and the food in the restaurant is very good. The rooms are luxurious, and the hotel staff is very friendly, especially Miss Nac, who always helped us with whatever we asked for.
The hotel is very large; rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. The breakfasts were very good with choices to suit all tastes. The location is not great, its 45 minute's drive to the old town, although the metro is right behind the hotel, it takes almost as long as you have to change trains, but it's much cheaper than a taxi. The Wi-Fi was pretty awful, it didn't work at all or dropped in and out constantly. The spa was nice and offered many services.
We booked a private tour of places we wanted to see in Istanbul through the hotel. Our booking representative Naz, was really friendly and helped prepare an itinerary for us taking into account what was manageable for my elderly mum, what our preferences were and shopping and lunch suggestions. Lovely girl, made us feel very welcome at the hotel.
Rooms are fine.
Clean. Towels ok. Safe in toom. . Good beds.
At least an hour by taxi from old city and 30 mins + from the airport.
Breakfast is very very crowded. OK selection if you can get a seat.
The front of house staff poor attitude is a huge problem. Indifference verging on contempt.
The 3 small lifts can be a nightmare. The hotel has 404 rooms!
I also stayed here in late April. At that time 2 lifts were stopped on upper floors for an unusually long time. I reported this to reception. They shrugged and turned away!!!
I later met the lady who was stuck in one of the lift unable to open the door or get anyone's attention. I did try!!!
Today, l have been in a long line for the lifts for 15 minutes. A young Turkish woman pushed in. We told her to wait her turn. The front of house staff member intervened and spoke only in Turkish to her. Ignoring us, as Westerners, but still paying guests.
He personally took her to the service lift.
We were left to stand in line.
I knew where the service lift was as we had been stuck on the 6th floor and discovered the service lift in the stair well.
Front desk sending maintenance is hit and miss. Some guests got TV and safe fix immediately. Other guests in the disabled room with the window stuck open all night got no help. They resorted to stuffing towels in the gap to keep out the cold.
This hotel has many large tour group bookings. As an individual traveller l would avoid this hotel.
