Not overly happy but Ok for a overnight stay .

Not happy! Dirty and I didn’t feel safe.
Pros:

Nothing! Booking.com has a review score of 4.0 but that’s a LIE! Check Google reviews it’s only 2. something and I believe Google review more.

Cons:

Dirty and poorly maintained.
First room, door key did not work and door knob was wiggling. The staff tried to fix the key but I asked to be moved to another room. The 2nd room has Mcdonald bags in the fridge which I gave it to the woman at the check in - she did apologize). When i pulled the mattress to check for bugs, there was a mini screw driver under the mattress and it’s dirty. Tv remote and light switches are dirty. The bedcover has yellow stain (dunno what it was). I will never book at any Motel 6 again, ever!

The only good thing was there is an Indian restaurant attached and it has great food

That place is in ruin. One of our bed had no sheets. The air conditioning was so noisy and leaked water on the uneven floor. The bathroom door didn't close. The tub was dirty ect ect

Very bad area of Rochester

Cons:

I was a late check-in. I no sooner put my car in park and was immediately met by a security guard telling me I needed to move. I told him I was there to check-in and he said it didn't matter, go park in a side lot and walk up. Once I parked and got out I heard what sounded like gunshots coming from nearby. I was immediately concerned about my safety and left. I did not check-in and left.
