Great hotel in a great Melbourne location
Pros:

Great location for discovering Melbourne with a hotel that met all expectations.

Cons:

Only one complaint…….after paying $28 for breakfast which was fine you were then expected to pay extra for decaf coffee. The hotel needs to resolve this as I’m sure it has been simply overlooked. Also no decaf Tea anywhere in the hotel.

Great location, not too noisy with fantastic roof top bar
Pros:

Perfect location to walk to many points of interest in the CBD. Close to parking and public transport with tram stop out front. Fantastic roof top bar with views of the river. Friendly staff were helpful.

Cons:

Bed was two pushed together but still ok

Disappointing for the price, especially for a suite.
Pros:

The bathroom had a nice bath. Unfortunately that was the only real highlight, and the rest of the facilities didn’t match what you’d expect for the room type or the price.

Cons:

I booked a suite with a living area so I could relax and watch something in the evenings, but the wifi couldn’t hold a stream. A one hour show took me three hours to get through. I asked for help on day one of a four day stay and nothing was done. If a room is sold with a living area, it should be usable as one.

Housekeeping was also poor. The room was only made up and towels changed once during the stay. On one day, staff took the towels I’d hung on the rack and scrunched them up, so they stayed wet.

I’ve stayed at other hotels that were cheaper and did a much better job. Overall, not good value.

Large rooms, great views, comfy bed and good shower

Cons:

Arrived at rooftop Bar at 9:45 for a nightcap after a concert. Waited 15mins to order drinks, 10 other marathon runners walked in 10 mins after us and were seated and served their beers before any service was given. Should have walked out but waiter finally came to table. Was told the cocktail I wanted wasn't available as it had been hot and there was no sorbet left for it. Good service would have informed us when we sat down if something wasn't available, definitely wasn't busy. Would definitely come back to stay but perhaps our night drinks will be at another rooftop bar!!
