The location was excellent. The shuttle was extremely helpful because we were there for a wedding at the Yorkmont.

Well, upon arrival, I went to the front desk. The person behind the desk acted as if I was a bother. I told her that we got a message, on Booking.com, that we couldn't check in early but once I got the message the day before, I called the hotel and spoke to the person on the phone who told me should couldn't guarantee it but she will try to make it happen with at least one of the rooms because I had three reserved. I explained it to the lady at front desk when i arrived. I also told her that if it wasn't available, no big deal, we will put our things in my daughter's room because she checked in the day before. The front desk person said in a bothered way, "Did she tell you that its $30 to check in early?" I said no she did not. She looked away and then proceeded to check me in one of the rooms and I said "oh its available?" She said nothing. Just asked me how many keys I needed. I got two keys and told her I would come back in 30 minutes to check in the other two rooms because by then it would be 4:00. I was charged $30 extra and had no idea she charged me that until I looked at my bank statement after leaving! She should have actually communicated to me because that is what you do when you work customer service. She should have said I will have to charge you the $30 check in early fee if you check in right now which is only about 40 minutes from your check in time. I would have declined it and put our bags in my daughter's room until 4:00! Like I said, great location and clean, but I will not choose it for any future stays.
