It was good

The LaQuinta has always been a great place to stay. They unfortunately renovated and took all the pillow top mattresses out and replaced them with a hard cheaper mattress. We didn't sleep well at all, our backs killed us. They brought 5 comforters to put on the best to soften it but still didn't help.

A very comfortable and excellent stay which means we will stay here when we come to Pigeon Forge.
Pros:

The Staff was Awesome! (including Destiny and Kenny). The front desk really showed they cared about their guest.

Cons:

The breakfast was good, but could have alternated days with one day bacon and the next sausage instead of sausage each day. The biscuits and gravy along with the scramble eggs were very good. The waffles were also good!

Its ok if you have low expectations

Location was ok, it was near the strip

Cons:

The bed was terrible. Didnt even feel like a mattress. Pool and hot tub were so cloudy you couldnt see your feet. Hot tub was lukewarm tub at best. If you want Breakfast its served until 10, but if you come at 9 expect everything to be gone. Housekeeping was blah, took our towels and didnt replace them, room was clean enough when we arrived.

Great hotel in quiet location.
Pros:

The friendly staff. Quiet location close to shops and restaurants. The paved walking trail just across the street made walking our dog easy. Clean, spacious and cozy king suite. We first discovered this hotel 14 years ago. We always stay here when visiting Pidgeon Forge.

Cons:

Everything was wonderful. No complaints.
