Great location and comfortable room, but the bathroom smell and unfriendly staff were disappointing.
Pros:

The location was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and overall very pleasant.

Cons:

There was an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet/bathroom. Also, some of the staff were not very friendly and seemed rather unsmiling.

Wir waren Unglücklich und sind einen tag frühe Abgereist.
Pros:

Lage war sehr Gut, aber die Straße war in Bauarbeit und Gesperrt

Cons:

Zimmer nicht Rollstuhlgerecht, WC zu nieder und eine 2 Stange hat gefällt bei der Toilette.
In der Dusche kein Sitz und keine Ablage.
Das Hotel ist mit dem Rollstuhl nur durch die Tiefgarage zu erreichen

Great place in the city centre with parking and all you might need
Pros:

Loved friendly and helpful stuff. Parking is a life saving thing in the city centre and the price is great since fines are pricy in Buda. Gym — small but nice. Overall loved the place.

Cons:

It’s a nice place to stay , maybe breakfast could be a bit tastier

Dissapointing second stay
Pros:

The location is excellent for town center. Close to Opera and St. Stephan Cathedral

I had actually stayed at his hotel about 5 years ago, and at the time I thought it was very good. This time, not so much as the maintenance has not kept up. In our room, the door lock had been broken and repaired (badly) so many times, the door barely stayed closed, so much so that a small child could easily force it open. The hair dryer did not work. The bath shower stall had rust, stains and sloppy caulking. On our second day, there was no hot water. We told the front desk, and though she apologized profusely, they wouldn’t be able fix it until the next day which was too late for us as we were leaving. At checkout, I thought they might offer some type of credit to make up for the inconvenience, but none was offered. My honest recommendation? Stay some place else.

Nos robaron cuatrocientos dolares dentro de la Habitación 712

Tuvimos una pésima experiencia ya que a mi Sra. en la tarde del 18 de agosto de 2026, entro housekeeping y le abrieron una cartera que se encontraba colgada en el closet y le robaron la suma de cuatrocientos dolares estadounidenses. Por la noche al regresar , nos percatamos del robo , hicimos la denuncia en el front desk a las 23.30 de ese día, la Sra Zita a la mañana siguiente nis dijo que esto le había pasado a otro pasajero y que iban a investigar. Lamentablemente luego nos escribieron mensajes por la plataforma de Booking , negando todo y defendiendo a su personal. Un desastre ! Una vergüenza! Jamás volveremos y recomendamos a todos no pisar el hotel K+K Opera Budapest , hay robos por parte del personal de Housekeeping. Pésima la respuesta del hotel negando todo. Iré a la Embajada de Hungría a hacer la denuncia sobre este lamentable establecimiento, una vergüenza para Budapest.
