The room had a mildew smell.
It could have been cleaner. The whole building not just the rooms.
Breakfast was average. I've had better.
Not a lot...
The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was extra-ordinarily clean and the towel were appreciated. The atmosphere was very quiet.
This was one of the bones of contention. The first day we came down at 9:45 for breakfast, and was surprised to see it was gone! Without apology we were told by the woman cleaning up that there were signs posted everywhere about the time ending at 9:30 am. We looked around and found one small sign next to a coffee pot stating the hours. No one at the time of check in warned us and there was no information in the room to inform/warn us of this early time. All the food was cold and on a cart to be put away but the woman cleaning up allowed us to take what we wanted. It was NOT a pleasant experience, we were treated poorly...almost scolded.
The next morning, we got there at 9:00. The breakfast was warm and had variety. We were still there at 9:35 finishing eating when several different parties with small children, came along and were startled as we were the day before to learn of the early breakfast hours. I add this last comment to underscore the fact that they were as surprised as we were the day before. All this matter needs more explicit communication and better signage in the rooms and perhaps posted on the doors.
N.B: These hours are unreasonable for people trying to relax and sleep in on vacation and/or with little children.
We had several issues:
1. I had trouble checking in - there was a dispute about payment. The first person I encountered, a male, was absolutely rude. I almost gave up and was going to leave when another woman came by and was more helpful. It was a misunderstanding about a third-party payment with the reservation.
2. We had trouble the whole time with the door lock. Our key card did not work. At one point we were locked out and waited an hour before the staff finally was able to get us back into the room. Finally, when we were leaving, a new battery was installed in the door.
3. I spoke about breakfast above.
Summary: This was the most stressful experience I have ever had with a hotel stay. I am a million-miler traveler and have stayed in dozens of hotels mostly using the Hilton chain. I wanted to try Holiday Inn this time.
The only thing that redeemed this stay was that when I went to pay the bill the woman apologized for the all the inconveniences and comped me a day.
Nothing
Nothing clean. No AC in hallways or common areas. Puke on floor. Breakfast was awful. Side entry doors no secured after hours.
The swimming pool was wonderful. Hotel was in a very good location. Staff was great. And the location of the breakfast was very nice.
Close to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was also clean. The only downsides were there is no coffee maker in the room and breakfast really wasn’t that good compared to other Holiday Inn Express’ I’ve been too.
Nothing
Terrible location. Not near anything. Staff was rude. The rooms weren't very clean. We had to cut our stay short and they were not accommodating at all
Very central for the airport, lovely rooms, very clean
Unfortunately the shower in our room didn’t work.
Clean and safe.
