Pros:

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was good. The hotel was clean, though the landing carpets have visible stains.

Cons:

There was only 1 other pub and nothing else to
do in Valley. The price of drinks is expensive.
The lighting in the room wasn't good.
There is no air conditioning and no fans in the rooms, and no air.
The sink taps were hard to turn off

As usual , a comfortable stay in this lovely well kept hotel.
Pros:

Very, very clean.
Very helpful staff.
A good menu and comfortable bar area.

Cons:

No fault of the hotel, but quite a warm day. This made the bedroom very hot and stuffy despite the windows open as far as we could.
A fan might have helped.

Sleepless night is a sauna
Pros:

Convenient for the ferry and a decent pub / restaurant. Took dogs.

Cons:

Stayed in the really hot period at end on June. 35 degrees. Room was so hot and humid overnight. No fan or air con. Worst nights (lack of) sleep ever

For one night, a good hotel, pleasant staff, comfortable beds, powerful shower, a tasty dinner.
Pros:

The bedroom looked recently decorated and clean. The towels were good and there was plenty of hot water - a very good shower.
The dinner was good, especially the chicken.
The supply of breakfast cereals, especially muesli, was good.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit for breakfast and some plain yoghurt.
I would have preferred some stronger coffee served in nicer cups or mugs. It`s a pity there wasn`t a lift but I can understand it probably would be difficult with the layout of the hotel.
To have stayed longer than one night, not to have had any drawers to put clothes in could be a problem.

Pros:

The cooked breakfast and the location were the only perks of this stay

Cons:

Room stank of cigarettes, it is July so the windows were open upon arrival. The smell was extremely strong that its more likely that someone had smoked previously in the room. If it was coming from the car park, they should make more of a effort to keep smokers away from hotel windows as it was disguising. The floor boards had gone in the room so the floor was creaky meaning any time you moved there was noise throughout the room. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from adjacent rooms. The paint was peeling off the walls in the bathroom and the towels had makeup stains on.

There was little to no staff around, simply a key drop at reception so no one to ask how our stay was.

Would not stay again for the money we paid

Anglesea stay
Pros:

Staff were welcoming, food was good and hotel was dog friendly

Cons:

Too hot, as the radiators in the corridor appeared to be on despite the hot weather. There was fan or cooling facility in the room.

Booked on line in a hurry and regretted it, location wasn't great and the room was small and dated
Pros:

Nice garden area outside

Cons:

Service was poor and the prices were high given the quality of the accommodation.
