Best Western Courtesy Hotel - Anaheim Resort Amusement Park

Room didn’t look like the photos provided on Booking.com.

Our door didn't have any weather stripping on the deadbolt side, we had light coming in. Because it is on a main thoroughfare, and by the disneyland employee parking entrance, It was a little on the loud side as far as traffic goes. The fireworks from disneyland are incredibly loud and you're unable to see them.

I already have informed that I was arriving at 8 am, when I was there I needed to drop my luggage at the place, but also asked to use the restroom, they wanted to charge me $25 more dollars to use the one in the room, so no restroom available for guests, we're talking about a best western, also I informed that I couldn't take breakfast (that they offer) because I needed to leave at 4 AM, so requested to have it on my arrival, or at least something, but nothing, no food no restroom, no water, nothing! I expected more of this hotel because is a "Best Western" also very far from Disney, no walking distance.

Arriving to the property and getting the keys to our room on the third floor, opening the door, there was a strange smell and room layout was very interesting, some areas of flooring were missing carpet. You were not able to close the bathroom door due to the toilet being so far out. As we brought our luggage up to the room, housekeeping was getting ready to start on the room right next door, and in the moment they open the door, the housekeeper stated, “Oh my God,” and gasped. I walked out the door to make sure she was OK and housekeeper was OK, but there was such a horrible odor inside the hotel room right next-door. It was absolutely filthy. Sheets, towels were and the horrific smell just continued to come out of the room. which then explained why the room we were staying in had a strange smell as it was coming from the room right next door. I went straight down to the front desk and explained the situation. The gentleman working at the front desk was very apologetic and stated that he would let his manager know about the hotel room and it shouldn’t be a problem getting refunded, but I would have to go through the third-party booking booking as I could not stay within that hotel with the unsanitary conditions it held, I put my complaint in with booking.com and wrote a lengthy email with word for word on what the housekeeper mentioned, as well as the front desk, and got an email back within just a few hours stating that management of this specific Best Western will not be giving a refund of any sort and would still be charging full price for the room regardless of the condition. My partner and myself left the hotel immediately and went down the street to stay at a more health conscious, sanitary hotel.

Carparking is very limited so make sure you've checked in early to secure a spot but in saying that they had one for us around 9pm which I think we were very lucky to get! Otherwise people complained about the noise of traffic, yes you can hear it but honestly it was kinda soothing and it didn't keep me awake. If your sensitive take ear plugs.

Water pressure in the shower was very low

Wasn’t a good walk to park as stated.
It said 4 minute walk which was really 30 minutes and dangerousl. The parking at hotel was awful. Very small parking lot. Had to fight to get one. It was very loud traffic outside.

Some of our towels were worn down. We got replacements every day we found hairs wrapped up in the threads of one of the towels.

Nothing major that would stop me from coming back. Pillows were far too soft. The room we were in the bathroom door was a bit warped and was very difficult to open/close.
