Catalonia excellence at Amsterdam

Hello everyone, I have just arrive home in Australia from a European Vacation, we started in Rome and worked our way to Amsterdam, it was 23 days and the last 3 days were just great at the Catalonia Hotel in Amsterdam, location was close to everything we wanted to do, quite area, rooms were clean and the service excellent, my partner and I were especially thankful to a young gentleman call Victor, who not only helped bring our luggage to our room but helped us though out our stay and made our European vacation that much more special.
I highly recommend this beautiful hotel and the fantastic staff, thank you once again and keep up the great work you are all going over there. 👍

Good spot for the price.
Pros:

For the price, this hotel offers good value. Just be sure you're booking the type of room you actually want, as some of the basement rooms can feel quite dark and isolated.

We requested a room change and, although there was some initial reluctance, the front desk agent, Guillermo, ultimately managed to help us. He arranged a room in the same category but with a significantly better layout, much more natural light, and a proper desk for working—something the basement room lacked. His assistance made a noticeable difference to our stay and certainly earned this positive review.

Excellent value for money.
Pros:

Great value for money. The room was spacious and silent, good appliances, great bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Julio César and Víctor.

Cons:

Some noise comes from the rooms in the upper floors.

Maravilloso trato, súper recomendado!
Pros:

Las camas eran muy cómodas, la habitación muy grande y el baño tenía ducha y bañera. El ascensor un poco estrecho, pero nos dijeron que podíamos dejar la silla del niño en una estancia abajo sin problema. Sin duda lo mejor del hotel es el trato del personal, toda fueron muy amables con nosotros y sobre todo con nuestro hijo, especialmente Víctor y Miquel que fueron los que más nos atendieron. Un 10/10 para ellos!

Chambre spacieuse, lit confortable, rien à redire sur la propreté.
Très bien situé si vous privilégiez la proximité avec les musées

Cons:

rapport qualité/prix du petit déjeuner moyen et notamment les plats vides qui sont longs à être remplacés

Veldig sentral beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale.
Vi var 3 venninner som delte et rom med 3 senger. God plass på rommet.

Cons:

Eneste negative er bratte trapper. Var best å ta heis.
