We have no parking on site. Nearby parking is available at St James Quarter car park (postcode EH1 3BP), who offer our guests a discounted daily rate of £17 for 24h. Simply collect you parking ticket on entry, but please ensure to also collect your discount ticket from reception upon departure. Alternatively on street parking is available (restrictions and pricing vary).

When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance.

The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our Seasonal A’ la Carte menu and a side dish. Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price. Kids Dinner Menu also available.

Please note extra beds and cots must be confirmed with the hotel prior to arrival, customers will be required to settle children's extra bed charges (£30 per night) directly with the hotel.

Comfort, good service, good location, perfect!
Pros:

Everyone has a different approach to breakfast. Mine is a healthy one and Malmaison provides bowl upon bowl of delicious fruit and seeds, along with tasty yogurts to satisfy the nut-picky of them all. Your choice of cooked dishes would satisfy those who require a more substantial start to their day....delicious.

I can't think of anything to say here.

Very convenient location, comfortable
Pros:

Great location! Very walkable to Royal Mile and some other attractions, hop on hop off bus stop right in front of hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was lovely with a comfortable bed. Quiet. Would recommend.

Cons:

Had a lift but still had to traverse some stairs with luggage

Would stay again, however stick to the continental breakfast.
Pros:

Great location for shopping and dining in Edinburgh and only a 5 min walk to train station.
Good choices for dinner and decent quality.

Cons:

Felt that the cooked breakfast was not the best quality of ingredients and was fairly bland. Also the poached eggs were not dried enough before going on the plate which made for a rather watery breakfast.

Pros:

emplacement, disponibilité du personnel, très bon petit déjeuner, bon restaurant.

Cons:

isolation phonique par rapport à la rue très médiocre : on entend trop le bruit de la circulation sur une rue assez passante : pas terrible pour ceux qui comme moi aime le calme , et pourtant on était dans une suite au dernier étage !
