The service was terrible, and the place was filthy—there were animals in the room and even in the bed. I left with an itchy rash all over my body. I mentioned this to the staff at the front desk, but all I got was a half-hearted "I'm sorry"—they did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. I do not recommend this place; be very careful, especially if you have children or babies.y have videos an pictures
-10. On February 14, I had a family medical emergency that required my immediate attention, as a close family member was hospitalized. Because of this situation, I contacted the front desk to cancel my reservation and informed them that I would not be arriving.
Despite notifying the property, I was later charged for a stay that never occurred. Over the following three weeks, I made numerous attempts to resolve this issue by contacting hotel management. During these calls, the individual identifying herself as the owner and operator of the hotel behaved in a rude and unprofessional manner and repeatedly accused me of lying about the family hospitalization.
I also requested documentation proving that I had allegedly checked into the room. Specifically, I asked for a copy of the check-in record, identification verification, or any signed documentation confirming my arrival. Management was unable or unwilling to provide any proof that I physically checked into the property.
In good faith, I submitted medical documentation confirming that my family member was hospitalized during the time in question. Rather than reviewing the evidence objectively, the manager dismissed the documentation and stated that the hospitalized individual “was not my family member.” This response was both inappropriate and unprofessional.
I also submitted multiple complaints through Booking.com, requesting assistance and a refund. Unfortunately, the hotel has ignored these requests and has failed to respond to Booking.com for over a month.
The following concerns remain unresolved:
• I was charged for a stay despite never checking into the hotel.
• Management has refused to provide proof of check-in or identification verification.
• I was treated with hostility and accused of dishonesty regarding a documented medical emergency.
• My calls and refund requests have been repeatedly ignored.
• The hotel has failed to respond to Booking.com regarding this dispute.
Based on the circumstances, I am requesting the following:
An immediate full refund of all charges related to the February 14 reservation.
Written confirmation that this matter has been resolved.
A review of the conduct of the individual representing the property due to the unprofessional and dismissive behavior displayed during this dispute.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to pursue further action, including filing disputes with my financial institution and submitting complaints to consumer protection agencies.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.
Room was very musty didn’t get any reprieve from it. They wouldn,t change our room and the food was passable. The lobby area was nice, but once you got up to the room floors, the carpeting was dirty very worn, and there were areas in our room that looked like it had not been washed or cleaned over the last couple guests

Typical underwhelming seaside hotel - motel with damp rooms, mattresses and sheets with mild mildew aroma! They are everywhere from Florida to California coast!
When we got to the hotel the desk clerk told us they were very busy and did not get to clean enough rooms so he cancelled our room, told us we had to stay somewhere else, and would not refund our points we booked with.
I booked two rooms, when we got to the hotel to check in, the older man said that we only had one room booked. My family member pulled up our reservation on her phone to show him that we did, he would not even look at it. He said that we had to book another room. So just because this lazy man wouldn't take time to look at our proven two room reservation, we are now being charged for three rooms. And Laquinta won't take off the extra room cost, a good hotel would refund, especially since it was their employees fault. This is bad bussiness Laquinta West on 63rd St, Galveston, TX.

It was great could have had a little bigger food option for the quality of the place but everything else was fantastic food wasent even all that bad just add a few more things and Wayy better quality orange juice and apple juice
Breakfast definitely could have been better juice should be higher quality and not waterd down and artificial. More food options would be a bonus kinda was disappointed when i seen what they served

The room key didn’t work
There was an old moldy smell in the hallways and the room. Things looked clean but the smell was bad.
Rude check in experience. Breakfast is terrible. Decent room though.
Our shower was full of mold, our tvs would turn on or off on their own we asked for that and the batteries to be fixed with no response also the phone would not work.
