Not to my expectation
Pros:

We had dinner at the hotel and food was fine .
Breakfast is also good bit nothing exceptional

Cons:

The mattress was too soft and I had a room in the attic .
Also having the shower in the room is not a good idea due to the smell of humidity in the room .

I would return but not dine

Nothing, but the dinner was not good value.

Why ? On our bill, water €4, mustard €1, bread roll € 4 and the steak was undercooked. Give the dinner cost, these ancillaries must be available without charge.

Pros:

De kamerinrichting vooral practice badkamer en apart toilet.

Cons:

Bij reservatie een 2 persoonsbed gevraagd en dan toch een kamer met 2 aparte bedden gekregen. Wel achteraf geregeld om de kamer om te wisselen.

Leuk gelegen hotel
Pros:

De ligging - het restaurant + ontbijtbuffet - de kamer

Cons:

Het kamerbreed tapijt in de gangen en de kamers. Het gaf een versleten, vuile indruk, niks fris. Werkte zelfs astmatisch tijdens ons verblijf. Vervang het dringend door een andere vloer (laminaat, tegels, …) Is onwaardig voor zo een hotel.

Es gibt komfortablere Van der Valk Hotels
Pros:

Die Lage und der Außenbereich des Hotels, den wir allerdings aufgrund des Wetters nicht nutzen konnten

Cons:

Kein kostenloses Parken möglich, wie sonst bei Hotels aus dieser Kette; die zu weichen Betten und dass aufgrund eines Defektes der einzige Lift nicht nutzbar war und wir über ein enges Treppenhaus die Koffer schleppen mussten. Eine Kompensation dafür gab es von Seiten des Hotels nicht! Dabei wäre ein kleiner Gutschein für die Hotelbar eine nette Geste gewesen.

Aangenaam hotel , sommige personeelsleden werken zonder empathie .
Pros:

Het hotel zelf interieur , netjes verzorgd , hygiënische kamers !
Ligging kort bij de stadscentrum Mechelen en toch in het groen!

Cons:

Ik reisde met 2 honden wat zeer moeilijk was voor het ontbijtbuffet , dienstdoende persoon wou mij niet helpen , nochtans was ik tevreden met een sober ontbijt 🤷‍♀️
Wel zeer vriendelijk personeel in restaurant !

Verder goed gehad!
Pros:

Ruimte en lokatie.

Cons:

Toilet had waterschade onder de wasbak en er hing geen haakje waar een handdoek aan kon hangen. Dus de handdoek lag op de grond, wasbak of achter het toilet.

Muy cerca del centro.
Se trata de un edificio histórico.
Habitación muy amplia y confortable.
Servicio de limpieza diario.

Cons:

No es tampoco una pega pero el hotel no dispone de parking propio. Hay que ir a un parking municipal que está al otro lado del canal.
Cabe decir que este parking está en perfectas condiciones

Erg comfortabel en fijn!
Pros:

Sfeervol, ruim, luxe… fijn verblijf!

Cons:

Kan niet echt iets noemen … maar als t toch moet; er was een grote vlek op de ( mooie) vloerbedekking ; waarschijnlijk van het koffie apparaat zonder stop functie die er stond. Dit was blijkbaar niet gesignaleerd bij de schoonmaak of check.
