Pros:

The mountain view from our room was priceless. The bed was comfortable

Cons:

Everything was very basic including hospitality. Shower stall was small and the drain was clogged. Tv remote was leaking from the batteries

Gutes und günstiges Hotel mitten in der Altstadt.
Pros:

- Sehr nettes Personal
- Super Lage
- Gutes Frühstück
- Blick nach hinten raus sehr schön und ruhig

Cons:

- Bettwäsche roch muffig, nicht frisch. Ausserdem war ein Blutfleck im Laken.
- Betten knarrten laut bei jeder Bewegung

Pros:

Wir waren begeistert von dem kleinen Dorf Gruyère und haben unser Auto auf dem obersten Parkplatz, ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Hotel abgestellt. Wir wurden von dem sehr freundlichen Hotelmitarbeiter herzlich empfangen und haben abends noch im Hotel ein sehr gutes Käsefondue gegessen, auch hier waren die Bedienungen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unser Zimmer war zur Ortsmitte hin gelegen und trotzdem ruhig während der Nacht. Empfehlung: unbedingt im HR Giger-Café einen Kaffee trinken : ) Ingesamt ist das Dorf, das Hotel und die kleinen Geschäfte und der tolle Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge ein sehr schönes Erlebnis!

Pros:

Magnifique hôtel situé dans une très belle cité médiévale avec un très beau panorama.
Très calme la nuit et un accueil chaleureux.
Je recommande à mille pourcent cet endroit même pour un court séjour.👍👍.

Okay für eine Nacht.
Pros:

Die zentrale Lage.

Cons:

Der einzige Aufhänger ist das Himmelbett, womit auch auf den Fotos geworben wird. Kühlschrank ist laut und muss nachts ausgesteckt werden - kühlt aber sonst gut. Das Bad hat keine Ablagefläche und ist mindestens 50 Jahre alt!

Amazing location, quite rustic/authentic hotel.
Pros:

Being located in the centre of the medieval village of Gruyere was magical - we arrived just after the tourist crowds had left (around 6pm) and had moved on by the time they arrived the next morning... this meant we spent a beautiful peaceful evening strolling around the village and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Hotel was very authentic - could really tell we were in Switzerland rather than a chain hotel - which is exactly what we wanted.

Cons:

The family room was at the top of the building and extremely hot (it was during a heatwave so understandable), but there was only one fan which barely functioned and was extremely dusty.
There weren't enough plug sockets to plug the bedside light as well as the fan or any devices that needed charging - appreciate it's an old building but some extension leads would be beneficial.
There was no water or tea/coffee making equipment in the room.
We were only provided with 2 towels for a family of 4.
The breakfast was a bit limited, although the kids did really enjoy the meringues & cream!!

Pros:

Je me suis piqué sur les jambes et les bras par des insectes dans la chambre, ressemble les piqûres de punaise de lit.
J’ai dîné avec ma fille dans leur restaurant, mais les repas vraiment pas bon, on dirait les repas d’industriel. Les personnels sont gentils!
