The location of the hotel was very nice, it has a lot of restaurants near it, the staff was very friendly,
There was no internet connection in the room only the lobby
The carpet had some stains on it and there was some dust in the room the toilet very small, there wasn’t a big shower head
There wasn’t a variation in the breakfast menu it was the same everyday .
Great location , great staff
Had a sleepless night as the AC at night was no good & we soaked in this heat in July !
You can't open the window as it's hot & humid outside let alone the noisy street.
Offre du petit-déjeuner très complète
Salle-de-bains spacieuse et propre
This is a typical hotel with small/mid sized rooms in a crowded Republique area with good connectivity. Road facing rooms get quite noisy throughout the day and toll late night.
Hamayra at the front desk is awesome and very helpful.
However, this hotel has one of the worst concierge desks. I suggest you not rely or use the concierge for anything.
The list of negatives about this hotel are too long to detail here. Do yourself a favour and spend your money on a nice 4 star boutique hotel. IHG should be ashamed. This place is worn, and grubby. Terrible and at times rude service (apart from my check-in in guy / you were great). Everything from pillows, sheets, room furniture and fittings were worn, broken and just nasty (holes in curtains). Zero attention to detail. Food was an abomination. Non existent WIFI. I just can’t…as I said there’s just too much.
The staff was cooperative, the facility was clean, the breakfast was very good and after changing the room they first offered I got a decent room.
I had requested a room with a flat shower and I did not get it.

food was good within the hotel, within walking distance to all must see museums, cafes, restaurants.
The gym is incredibly small with inadequate ventilation. During the summer an outdoor exercise area downstairs where you could open windows and access the garden area in the shade would be more appropriate. Given France experienced 35 plus for the whole time I was in Paris to be able to exercise early in the morning in a healthy space would have been ideal. Air Conditioner in the room needed a stronger fan. I also attended a conference on the first floor and the rooms were very stuffy.
Staff
No microwave, no swimming and bath tab is small.
This is a beautiful property housed in an historic building, and in a great location! The rooms are good sized for a European hotel. There is a plaza/courtyard area that is very pleasant. One of the high points is their breakfast buffet with a large assortment of options. The only downsides were that the "grab bar" in our shower had pulled away from the wall, and was not at all secure, making it difficult to get in and out of the shower safely. (Room 170 by the way). And the air conditioning was not functioning as well as it should. But all in all, a nice experience in a central location.
