Need more maintenance. Location is great. Staff was friendly.

Great Location, Great Staff!
Pros:

Staff fantastic, location superb, room decent size for price/ location. Good toiletries, nice freebies in fridge (milk, Coke, water). Great shower, double-glazing keeps street noise to a minimum and windows can be opened. Not too hot despite heatwave. Bed comfy, also had decent desk and chair. Lift was out of order so a complimentary breakfast was offered (but declined as I was going out before breakfast was served).

Cons:

Be prepared for rumblings from (I think) the Circle and District Line every 3 to 4 minutes and the fridge was very small, not practical if you're planning to store foodstuffs over a few days. But I still enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again - there's something about this hotel that I really like despite these obvious shortcomings.

Pros:

ロケーション。駅近で最高。近くにレストラン多数あり便利。

Cons:

エレベーターが故障しており5フロアをスーツケースを持ちながら上り下りする必要があった。歯ブラシセットとスリッパはヨーロッパのホテルでは普通に用意されていないことが多いので仕方ないけど、あったら嬉しい。部屋は狭めで若干古い。

The location and rooms

Cons:

It was unfortunate that the lifts were out no order and wasn’t fixed on time. It was rather difficult to carry all our luggages (though the hotel staff helped) and walk up and down 3 floors

Room was as described

Cons:

The water was shut off for over an hour as we were getting ready for bed (around 10:00 pm). There was no warning for this or any knowledge of how long it would last. We couldn't use the sink, shower, etc or flush the toilet. Reception communication was really poor and they couldn't tell us how long the water would be off for and tried offering us another room which isn't a solution as the whole hotel had the same issue.

Booked this room for my boss and she showed the photos she took of the cockroach but no resolve
Cons:

Cockroach in the bathroom. No apology. No response from management after numerous emails and calls. Paid nearly £400 per night for this room - appalling.

The elevator did not work for 3 days

The elevator didn't work for at least the 3 days I was there.
I booked this hotel only because of the elevator, as I was with my 80 year old mom. They gave me a room in the 3rd floor and as an after thought "Oh, the elevator is not working right now so you need to take the stairs". I understood it was not working "for the next few minutes" and my mom was not with me, but then it was never fixed. Not only my mom had to go up and down 3 floors several times, I also could not take my luggage upstairs.
I talked to 4 different people in the Check In desk. All of them told me to talk to "the manager" who never showed up. Before checking in, they promised teh manager would get in touch with me and they never did. Also didn't respond to my follow up message.
I understand that sometimes things don't work well. What matters is how you handle it and in this hotel, they could not care less.

Good location in a nice neighborhood, perfect for Heathrow travelers. Nice and helpful staff.
Pros:

Helpful staff, perfect location, very good wifi. Cozy room with all I needed, cold, free water and soft drinks in the fridge. Pretty comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast with generous opening times in a nice nearby restaurant. Not sure if the is a permanent or temporary arrangement and if the weather hadn't been so fine during my stay I would just have grabbed one of the numerous umbrellas available for the guests.

Cons:

Lift temporarily out of order (lifts do that) which was unfortunate during the weekend. I thought I perhaps got the exceptionally good help with my luggage from the staff because I had mentioned in a note to the hotel that I could hardly manages stairs because of a back-injury, but thankfully they seemed to help everyone well with their luggage.

Handy located hotel, excellent staff. but broken lift nearly broke our spirits.
Pros:

Breakfast was OK. Beds were comfortable. Staff were excellent and went all out to help us. Little touches in the room we're excellent. Fluffy slippers and gowns. Prosecco and chocs. Nice vanity kits. Even a razor.

Cons:

The lift was out of action so we had to travel a number of flights of stairs to get to the third floor. My mother whom I was traveling with had mobility issues so this was a major flaw for our entire trip. Room. Though adequate was very small and bathroom was tiny. Mum couldn't use the shower as it was in the bath. Too dangerous for her.

Formidable !
Pros:

Nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants de 15 et 22 ans. Nous avons pris 2 chambres : une parentale et une avec 2 lits simples pour les enfants. Nous avons fort apprécié l’accueil de l’ensemble du personnel, la propreté, la proximité avec la gare Paddington ainsi que tous les transports (trains, bus, métro, taxis). Il est également à proximité des restaurants et des boutiques de souvenirs.
Un Hôtel vraiment au Top, nous n’hésiterons pas à reloger dans cet établissement si nous prévoyons une autre visite sur Londres.
